Ok, so in the course of the week, Sciggles turned into a sculpting dervish. Not only did she manage to whip out a good number of the Summer babies, she also got inspired to create a super toothy, open chompy mouthed angler in a gorgeous black and teal. (Open mouths on these guys is a bit of a pain in the bum, with the underbite and all those choppers)
Well, he came out absolutely adorable, so we decided he was an "Alpha" Angler and I created a special body for him, along with an Alpha style lure. We are putting him up for grabs rather than sneaking him into con stock, both for the added work he took to hatch, and because we reeeeeeeally want him to go to someone who will actually register him, ;3
With that said, he will be first come, first serve for adoption. The name listed on ohotobucket is just me being silly! and his new Handler is more than welcome to rename him or not as they see fit.

First comment get to adopt this snarly beastie. $50 plus shipping, or he can be sent with winter or summer babies for no additional shipping charge.
A bit about Alpha Anglers - Prime specimens of their Breed, Alpha Anglers tend to be thicker built than their counterparts. They have strong, heavy jaws capable of outright hunting their prey, as opposed to the usual ambush method used by the typical Angler. This is not to say they do not use an ambush attack, however, and their brightly glowing double lure enables them to present a tempting target for unwary prey. Alphas of this Breed tend to have larger teeth, and display an aggressive, often intimidating gaping mouth. This threat display is typically used to frighten off intruders to the Angler's hunting territory, and is usually sufficient to send smaller Wyrms squiggling for safety. Their body colors also reflect their genetic color banding, something that typically only expresses with the larger Standard Species.
They are fierce looking Wyrms indeed, but are steadfastly loyal once they find a Handler they trust. Typically, the way to an Angler's heart is through their stomach (see also, bring plenty of treats!), and they prefer their snack alive and wriggling. Squeamish Handlers are advised against adopting Anglers, as their table manner definitely leave much to be desired!
