Wyrm Egg Convention limits?

Yes, yes, a million times YES this is fair. xD I'm the type of person at cons where I don't like to buy everything at once - I usually do a few passes and buy one or two wyrms at a time. It kinda gives me time to think about what I want, and I really can't do that if someone comes in and grabs ten eggs at once.

With regards to grabbing for people online, I think the limit also prevents people who actually paid and showed up to the con from being screwed over by someone online who wanted a bunch of eggs.

At the same time, though, I agree that a little more emphasis should be placed on those online. I've felt like what is a huge and viable market of eager customers has been a little shafted, and I think some more supply for that group would be nice. I know that not everyone, even people within the U.S., can get to all of these cons for whatever reason. This is also why I'm kind of against the idea of an international clutch, because that's not taking into consideration people on the west coast or those who can't afford to pay for a bunch of cons. To expand on this, I've decided on a personal policy with online clutches: because I get to go to all of these cons, I've been staying away from online clutches, and I want to encourage those who get to go to a lot of the cons D.'s at to do the same. It's more fun when more people can play anyway!

If you're attending a convention that we're at, then we'll usually be in the Dealer's room at a table. You come by, check out the little basket of eggs, or any of the standards who are lurking about the table. Then you pick out your eggs (blind draw) and buy them from us. Pretty simple. We give you your new Wyrms, and you get their egg and card right then.

I love all of the ideas posted here. I also think that yes, 5 does seem like a fair enough limit, I myself cannot get there but even if I could, I think it would be fair ^-^
I also love the idea of international clutches! <3 Would really help those like me x3

Moosee: while I agree there is huge demand for online, you have to keep in mind that were I to sell less Wyrms at conventions, sales would be less, and thus I might not be able to even attend. Sales are what allows me to afford to go to conventions, get my work out there, and bring in new Handlers. Plus, its one of the few times I get to see folks and be social. If I were trapped at home, churning out Wyrm after Wyrm and never able to get out and chat with real life people, I'd go not so quietly nuts. ;3 Well....moreso than I already do. ;D

I AM going to see about having a small but steady stream of Etsy Eggs available, they will be Wyrms I make with the batches of conventions Wyrms, held aside for those online. I just feel bad, online buyers are stuck paying more because of the shipping issue....particularly now, with shipping rates increased. (This is a huge issue with international orders in particular) I mean, if YOU all don't care, good deal. I'll keep posting eggs online. I just figured it was cheaper and more fun being able to rifle through a bunch of eggs, rather than the stalking websites and mad scramble to grab ANY egg you could get.

Yeah, I understand, I just really want everyone to be able to be involved as much as possible. : ,D To me, that's the best thing about the game - the community. I've met some really awesome people, and I want to see that trend continue.
