Oooh, okay, that should be lovely with the breed descriptions. I'm still trying to sort out a way we can get tatterwing horns and another horn... we might have to rethink a few things unless we can stack them, but I think it'd be too much on teacups. I've sent Moosee some ideas but she's busy with her birthday today. cx

Oh; I did ask above how much you think the charms will be [but edited it in after]. Have you guys made a tentative price for them, and their recharges?

At the moment, I'm going to say $14 for buying a charm outright on etsy or online, where you can see what charm you get, and $10 for blind bags at conventions. (I have about a dozen atm in wee little brown paper baggies, stapled shut) it will be like the Wyrm eggs, you pick one, and whatever you get, you get. Recharges will be limited, but when they are up for sale, it will be $7 per recharge, so those with the actual physical charms will be getting a bit of a discount. Incentive to get the actual charms, since the cheaper "recharges" will only be available to those with the charm itself. And no, you can't stack them. They hold only ONE charge at a time, to keep people from stockpiling them.

You CAN trade charms, if you have one you don't need and someone else has one you are looking for, but they must be " registered" on the wiki, becasue that is where we will be keeping track. Each charm and recharge will have code to use it, and unless reported traded, will ONLY be good to the person who "owns" the charm. This is to prevent counterfeit charms, since really, they aren't all that complicated in design. Not that I think our Handlers would do that, but less honest types might try to sell copied charms to make a quick buck, and we want our handlers free from being taken advantage of. Pus, it will help us keep track of who used what charm, when, on which breeding, etc etc.

I plan to hopefully pick up a few on etsy but I was going to send my grabbers to get me some at the conventions; though I am interested in all but one, I wouldn't mind the blind draw tbh but I might be willing to spend the bit more to get the ones I for sure want. c:

Have for quite a while now, but hadn't really been using it much. I'm aiming to change that, and using it to sell assorted stuff, both Wyrm related and otherwise. I will probably sell the charms there exclusively, aside from cons, becasue it takes me out of the equation, and makes it so Zia and I don't have to babysit FA or DA. Though I'll have to put in the item descriptions that there is a limit, otherwise we'd have just a few handlers snagging all the charms. Might say like, max 3 per person?
And yes, conventions will be strictly blind draw.

I do want to put eggs up there as well, but would have to bump the price a teeny bit to account for etsy fees. Haven't decided yet, its an idea I've been noodling with. The plan for right now is to post stuff randomly, without warning notices on FA, DA, or CS. This way we don't have huge groups stalking their computer screens for hours on end. THOUGH......the handlers registered on the forums here will get a slight advantage, because when etsy stuff is posted ill make a quick post on the forums to let y'all know. And this will be the only place I post the heads up. Sort of a thank you to handlers who are registered and active/participating in the community, y'know?

Though I have another question; when you say max 3 per person, do you mean when that charm is up on the site? So for instance, a glow charm, a person can only buy three of it when it's up? Or is it more of a "you can only have 3 charms at one time"?

I just am asking since I want at least one of each charm, if not more to help with breedings, just want everything crystal clear so I know what to give my grabbers. ^^

I read it as 3 charms per person, with the ability to trade charms for ones you need. But each handler can only have 3 at one time.

3 per person, IE only allowed to BUY 3 at a time from etsy......this is to prevent one or two people buying out ALL the charms from the etsy store before anyone else gets a chance. Handlers may have as many as they want, though buying more than one physical charm is redundant, since they can be recharged. Unless you're getting multiples at a con to snag some for others/friends.

At the moment Zia and I are conferring to decide on having a cap on convention purchases or not. The concern is that a few people will be buying for friends that cant get to the con itself, which is fine. The trouble is, I don't want to run out of convention stock on the first day and leave nothing there for people who maybe only attend for one day, or only attend Saturday/Sunday and can't make it Fridays becasue of work. Or the other problem wiuld be a handler buying a ton of wyrms for those who arent attending and there being none left for those actually AT the con. Trying my VERY best to be fair to everyone, without becoming too crazy policing things. It's why I can't accept cash ahead of time for Wyrms...it puts ME in the middle of a third party transaction between others. If I took cash from someone who was having a friend pick them up Wyrms, I have to worry about selling them all before the con starts, or worse, taking money and then once the friend gets there, having no Wyrms left because they sold out. It just gets very sticky, and is something I want to avoid.
