OMG, with some of the new species and breeds coming out, I have a diabolical plan to try and create a whole new breed of (classified) Wyrms!

Start building my squirm!!! i currently am planning on receiving 2 tea-cups and 1 standard this season! im suuuuuper excited!

This is posted in another thread, so I think I'll post this here too so I don't lose it.

Let's see....
I really love antlers. My fursona is a red deer.
I like the metallic colors of the Tesla wyrms.
The long ears of the Mountain wyrms.
I saw a black and orange banded wyrm earlier that I loved, so mine would be coppery/dark red-orange and a lighter color orange banded head. The tail would be alternating red and orange with a white or tan tail tip.
I love the glass eyes, so it would have to be a great wyrm with green or lavender eyes. I'd want to be able to carry it with me, so maybe a standard would be better.
Better yet, (since we're dreaming up stuff) I'd get one in a Leviatha size and another similar wyrm in the teacup size so I *would* have one I can carry with me but still have one with the glass eyes and the fancy colored tail.

And Tesla restrictions aside, that would take absolutely forever to breed to. I do have a red male and a long-eared mountain wyrm, so it's a start!

Granted, this 'dream wyrm' probably looks like the Gala gowns that weren't made by Rarity because of all the randomness attached to it instead of something uniform, but ah well XD

With the breedings I'm getting this winter season,
I'll have a standard (hopefully with long ears)
A silvery teacup (? maybe with long ears)
A red wrym (with long ears)

I also have Summer, a yellow wyrm so I breed her to a red to get orange.

This is all assuming the dice love me, but hopefully it'll bring me closer to this hodgepodge dream wyrm of mine For this season, I'm concentrating on having ears and seeing if I can get close to the right color. (though admittedly), color should be the last thing to breed in I think.

Next season I will focus on the antlers and rounding out the color.

I don't have too many goals. Basically all the purple, and well, a tesla. I have a for sure tesla breeding lined up for spring but I would REALLY like one for winter... not sure if I'll be able to manage that. xD My goal is a viable pair, or at least, two unrelated ones that could continue on a small line, since they are pretty popular. ^^;

But besides that I'm trying to get two unrelated purple fairy wyrms, one I have done, and another partially confirmed. I'm also attempting to get a full XX PB baby from Twisted and Asana. I'd love to breed the PB trait eventually onto fairies. o3o So pretty.

All the growlers I want to own a lot of growlers <3 I'd love to try get a rainbow of plating on them too.. would especially love to get a red plated one <3 And I want all different XL ear shapes.

^ A red plated growler would be awesome. How would you go about singling out the red gene? Just purely being very selective? I think most growlers have cool colours.

Yep, at the moment all the growlers have cool tones for their plating....it's a breed standard for them. Kind of like the Tunnelers tend towards red/orange/brown tones.

Basically, all the Wyrm Types/Breeds have starting "settings" I created for them, with the intent that it would encourage Handlers to breed towards goals if they wanted certain things. Some are very basic, like Forest Wyrms having the plating, and coming in pretty much every color of the rainbow, and some are more subtle...like the fact that some of the mountain breeds are more inclined to Dilute or Albino.

I am actually really interested in seeing what folks breed for! It's fun seeing everyone's experiments, and what results.

I'm in the middle of writing up the "how to create your own line/Breed" rules, including rules on
pricing so things don't get out of hand/people don't "scalp" other handlers. Hoping to post in in the next day or so, but I will say there are some pretty spiffy perks for those breeding entirely new species, in addition to the bragging rights! ;3

Right now my only breeding goal is a standard growler. But along the lines of creating a new line/breed I really want to breed a standard growler with a pipe fox then breed that outcome to an avian. Then start breeding ones like that. I mean, that would be pretty cool.

Funnily enough, I was going to do a standard pipefox x growler this season. Had to switch over due to not being able to afford a standard but I do intend to make it happen in the future.

I've come up with my first breeding goal!

I am hoping to get a hold of a trait charm and breed so something besides swirl snouts can have heterochromia. XD May create a new breed in the process, who knows?
I have one swirl snout already with the heterochromia trait, but its recessive. So, unless I get a trait charm it will stay a recessive gene. Anyone have any suggestions what breed to work on? I have three wyrms, but they are all males, so I will need help with this project.
