Announcement: Tentative 2014 Summer Slot Counts and Limits

Not a problem, as I am looking at AFTER FA:U to start the new season, IF we have completed all previous seasons babies, so you'll be fine. ;3

Quick question regarding FA:U. Is it possible to pick up my standard hybrid from Summer 2013 breeding season (only if he's done by then, of course) at the con itself? Just wanted to know ahead, since I imagine he might be a pain to transport in the mail with the wings and such? I can paypal over the rest of the cost as soon as I get the invoice.

D has expressed that she does not want to do any Wyrm pick-ups at FA:United.
She intends on having all the standards finished /prior/ to the con and shipped out.

The moss Hoarders, is the moss on their horns genetic or artists choice?

Moss on the horns is breed standard.
Omegas or those with little territory may have less moss. Alphas or those with larger territories have more.
Obviously, sometimes we miss this on accident.

It will begin in August sometime.
Probably after FA:United. Hopefully after we've gotten mostly caught-up on existing bred-baby orders for 2013.

Is plausible that a handler could be picked to get a mini or standard AND a wyvern? And is it okay to submit multiple applications for a "special" slot even if we definitely won't get more than one?

So, are we waiting for all the orders to be complete, or most of them? What is considered "most" of them?

No new breedings will be accepted until all the previous summer and winter breedings are completed. Zia said mostly caught up because I am nearly done with the standards, sans finishing painting details and bodies. Remaining wyverns will likely be completed after FAU. Once they are done, along with the remaining teacups, late summer 2014 season will open. Spring babies will likely NOT be done by then, though we will try. Unfortunately SOME overlap of seasons is going to happen, spring/summer is kind of unavoidable unless we want summer season to be happening in the fall/winter. Remember, CDF staff is small and is still primarily only two people making the bulk of the wyrms, and we are human beings, not machines. ;3
