I found myself pondering this question while trying to think of concepts for a Halloween drawing for the contest:
What do wyrm skeletons look like?
How does their skeletal structure work? Has there been any work done regarding this previously, or do we have a bit of free reign to be inventive?
I would assume that their bodies have a snake-like skeletal structure, perhaps slightly shorter and with less ribs.
But specifically, how do their skulls work? Do growler and shrieker ears have any bone structure? I would assume that horns appear on skulls. Do wyrm skulls look reptilian? I'm referring to non-animal-based wyrms. Obviously feline, avian and pipefox skulls speak for themselves.
Any thoughts?
