I used to work for a company like that - needless to say, I hardly ever took vacation. SO freaking ridiculous!

I don't know if this is humor or not, but I guess it is.

My last day at macys will be on jan. 30th. The new budgets came out and my position is being eliminatied.

I was given a choice, go back to a sales department -which is exactly what i had sought to leave two years ago-, or I can take a severence package. - I will be elgeiable for unemployment.

It's nnot a great package. but I took it. *rubs face*

It's just. in hindsight funny that I know I'm losing my job, yet still have to work my next 6 scheduled days.

I'm not the only person they are apperently doing to this to, its a company wide thing. yes, i'll still be at anthrocon with gt and suntail.

send me hugs and pictures of cute things. liek cats glaring or puppies or pets. lizards are cute. spiders are downright adorable.

I was playing what time is it mr fox with the kids today. All boys at first then a girl joins in. She says "you better not call me MISTER" and the one boy insists on calling her mr to make her angry of course. I walk over to him and explain it's rude/disrespectful to call somebody things they don't want to be called and to please choose another thing. After that she became "doctor fox." After that everyone got their own special title too

You have a fox who stands at one end of a field with their back to the 'chickens'. The chickens call out 'what time is it mr fox?" and the time the fox says is the number of steps forward you take. When the fox calls "mightnight!" (or dinner time) they spin around and chase the chickens. If they catch one, the chicken becomes the new fox.

Hope that made sense!

But yeah. We had a brief anti-bullying discussion highlighting respecting others and calling them things they wish to be called. (Including 'how would you feel if I called you mrs fox and you didn't like it?')
