Announcement: Summer/Fall Season

I'm glad there will be a breeding season before winter, even if it is a small one.
I promised my friend Dangerlamb (she's 11 ) that we could breed our two wyrms, Oz and Merrie, during the next season and that we would both claim the clutchmates.
She has been talking of nothing else since Anthrocon (where our wyrms got to hang out together all weekend) and I think she will explode if she has to wait much longer!

I believe that D expressed one 'slot' per person, meaning one Wyrm.
She can correct me if this is incorrect.

Farm and 'Summer' breedings are separate. Farm people do get their additional farm breeding.
At least that is my understanding. I will verify all of this with D tomorrow.

Sorry for the lack of clarity, I wanted to get a post up because people were making plans and I wanted to give them as much time as possible to adjust things.

This is a really good idea. While it might be disappointing to those who had multiple breedings set up, I think the staff is making the right choice in taking the extra time to catch up with backorders. I personally thank you for keeping your promises to catch up with owed orders before opening more slots.

Getting some breathing room and the chance to get ahead of the giant wave of fluff can only be good in the long run. It's fair to D, Sciggles, 'Zia, and the mods who need to process the immense amount of work that's built up, it's fair to the handlers who have been waiting patiently for their adorable babies (and some who have made breeding plans for said offspring), and it should be fair to our newbies since the next breeding season should start of fresh and ready to go!

I definitely approve of this decision. Everyone who works to provide us with adorable wyrms are amazing and I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I appreciate how much effort is put into this game. This will be my first time breeding but I'm perfectly fine choosing just one pair. Thanks for the update!
