The sun was shining, the pigeons were doing their strut-dance on the balcony, and all was well in the wacky world of wyrms...when a package arrived...

Koro was very impressed by the lovely etchings, but a bit confused. Those don't look like anglers...did the artist not have any proper references?

Koro investigates. A box this size likely has maybe one or two wy-

After the fuzz dust settled, it was realized that it was the winter bebes coming home at long last. There was many celebrations as the parents went off to welcome their children to the squirm.

Cyndi and Blondie meeting. Cyndi was pretty surprised to see such a bright daughter. With wings even! She couldn't be happier.

Meanwhile Nocticula and Socothbenoth exchange worried glances as they meet their son for the first time...

However, despite the oddness of their child, Nocticula cannot help but love her little son. Though she worries somewhat how he will get enough food to eat...

Fortunately, as it turns out her other son already had a solution. He and Banjo had a lot of time to bond while they travelled and being an avian/angler with no wings and lure...he also would have been at a disadvantage.

But together, they work together and help eachother out! Nocticula was super impressed at how clever and resourceful her sons are.

They're certainly not the most normal family. But there is a lot of love.

Koro...is very confused by these newcomers. Anglers...with wings? They seem nice enough at least, and like talking about pleasant dreams. However they are twins...and Koro's experience with twins has been bitey at best.

Jubilex from Homecon and Socothbenoth. I personally love how even though they have some similarities, they have very distinct and individual quirks to really set them apart.

However it did give Nocticula quite a fright since for a second there she thought her brother had split into two wyrms.

Hastur meets his daughter Jezelda. She certainly is quite the fluff. But overall seems like a sweet...

...er...

WARAHGH! *technical difficulties*

...I guess she inherited that trait from her father...

The whole new crew! Kabriri was pretty shy and hiding the entire photoshoot and I just managed to get him in for the groupshot. But he's the little dilute fellow.

Overall they're a lively bunch! They're still settling in so it's hard to gauge what their personalities will be like since right now the whole squirm is just excited and bouncing around.

Hooboy! Big things a-moving and shaking in Angler-town! This Anthrocon was pretty much me going full home and garden it seems as I ended up with a few neat things to put into my little habi. As well as a fabulous new angler I've named Mestama!

She's a beyond fetching shade of green. Unfortunately being so lovely she seems to catch a bit of attention from creepers. :B

So as it stands, My current crew and habitarium!

Jubilex seemed less interested in the new digs and more interested in trying to impress the ladies.

Everyone else however went to town on the new stuff. Much thanks to Kai for the shells and for the amazing painting! And to Celestine for the awesome quilt.

Ruff and Tuff demand more shells btw Kai. Which is their way of saying thanks.

Meanwhile Karzoug seems quite in love with the top shell-f painting. Pazuzu keeps and eye on Banjo while the lil fellow explores. The photo really doesn't do the painting justice. I also love how it glows in the dark at parts. I swear between all the diddlybobs and the nightlights and the painting, it's turning into quite a scene when the lights go out. XD

The right side consists of the shelf within a shelf. It's turning into quite the party place. I think I may need to find a better shelving unit for all these guys soon...

Second floor has all the wyrm noms I'm slowly gathering. Jezelda really approves of the fishy nom. And the upper floor seems to be taken up by Blondie and the ni-

So it would seem that one of KV1NN4's wyrms decided she preferred the company of my anglers (I think the teeth and that there are already a few crinklery wings romping about appealed to her) so Kev has gifted her to me. I have aptly named her Spite and she apparently took lessons from Hastur and Jezelda in the fine art of handler diving.

In case folks are wondering about this shy little fellow, he's one of my roomate KV1NN4's new beebs. Since she has gotten quite the squirm of her own, I ended up clearing off the shelf above my own and she has set up her own little habi. Which apparently means they sneak in and photobomb when I'm trying to take pictures of my habitarium. *shakes fist at Kev*

All in all it was an exciting AC. Now I just need to get my wyrms to calm down. They're still pretty hyper from the handler meet as well as the new stuff.

*laugh* I'm more than happy to let Spite help boost up the crinkler population. When I saw her when Kev first got her, I had told Kev I wanted to try to get some breedings from her for that. So she'll definitely be available for crinkler and nightlight breedings. :3

And heehee! I regret not getting more fishy noms. When I get funds, I'll have to see about ordering a bushel of fishes. XD
