Canopy Barkers are extremely sociable and friendly and tend to live in large family groups. You will rarely see one alone if at all as they tend to be shy and prefer living at the tops of tall trees. If you do manage to spot one it will tend to watch you from afar. Stay put long enough and the Canopy Barker may approach for a closer look. Their sweet temperament normally wins out and the wyrm will tend to accept you and might even follow you home. They communicate with a noise that’s an odd mix between a bark and a chirp. Their feathery tufts help to pick up the sound. Their diet centers on tree nuts and insects. Their narrow snouts help them get to small cracks where lunch may be hiding.

Their masks may look to be just a design but they are much more then that. Masks help to show rank within their family groups. Brighter ones signify an Alpha wyrm while duller or a partially covered mask marks a lesser individual. The more covered their mask is the closer that wyrm is to an Omega. The only exception to this rule are wyrms with the Dot Line or Pitch Black genes. Individuals with DL are very rare but will always be the leader of a group while wyrms with PB tend to be loners and therefore not caring about rank.

HELP WANTED

I'm looking for assistants to help me take in babies for this project.
Also looking for handlers of Tufted Treebe's and Horned Wood Borers who would be willing to donate a breeding from their wyrm.
Post here or PM me if your interested.

Quick staff blurb.
You probably want to use the second image as your reference.

The first one is probably too beaky-looking to fit your breed requirements.
