Alrighty, I tried something last night during the Wyrm stream and it was fun, relaxing, and a neat way to end the work session. So I think I'll be doing it as a regular dealie.
Once I finished 5 heads, my goal for the night, I had about 15min left until my set 'time to call it a night' time. So I offered watchers the ability to suggest ideas for something cute or silly to sculpt. I ended up combining two, and made a cactus red panda. Once it was nearly done, I asked if anyone wanted it. It was claimed, and will be going to a good home very soon. I enjoyed myself, and it let me to a quicky sculpt that was different than what I'd been working on.
So my thought was, I will stream with this in mind. Leaving myself 20 or so minutes after my work is done to take suggestions and make something small, silly and fun. When it's finished, whoever wants it can have it, and tip my PayPal whatever they like. Obviously since they are physical 3d items there will be shipping to be paid, but these would be small items and would cost no more than the usual single Wyrm shipping. They could even be combined with existing packages going out.
Now obviously, this would be honor system. I would not set a fixed price for the Wee Silly Things, and will trust someone not to tip less than a couple of bucks. Likewise, it wouldn't be something expensive because hey, silly little blip of a sculpt.
