No correction needed, really. As usual, our Scribe is pretty much a step ahead of me. :3
The conformation aspect of EsCorander's Dragon game is something that's kind of Blitzava's thing. She's a Bio geek, (and I use the term affectionately) knows tons about dog breeding, and has modeled her game to mimic actual dog breeding in a lot of ways. I basically took some aspects, tweaked them/discarded some things, and made the Wyrm game similar but different. They compliment each other, and Dragons and Wyrms can crossbreed, but we each have details that make our games uniquely our own. The Cruinndrac Farms game is a bit less predictable in terms of Traits and breedings, though if you pay attention and experiment a bit, you can breed for desired things and get a fairly good idea of what your results will be. Blitzava's Dragon game, on the other hand, is strictly regimented, and geared more for Biology/breeding folks who want a definite, predictable result to their breedings. Being based pretty strictly on Mendellian genetics, it's easier to know exactly what you will get when breeding X with Y.
That said, I am MORE than happy to see folks create their own breeding lines/stables, and add names to their Wyrm lines. The proper term for a group of Wyrms belonging to a single Handler is a Squirm, so if you want to make, say the "StormHorn" Squirm, or what have you, go right on ahead! Actually, I should do that for my personal Wyrms, and the Farm Wyrms. ;3
And yes, although it will be trickier, you CAN create your own Type or Breed of Wyrm through selective breeding. Much like the EsCorander game, if a Handler can produce consistent results for 3 generations of Wyrm, they will be allowed to name the new line. (For instance, if you we're trying to create a Wyrm with a single backs wept Qui-Lin horn, an Angler Eel face, and white fur, and could produce a line that created that for 3 generations straight, with little to no variation, it would be considered a "New Breed". ) Just a sample, but you hopefully get the idea.
Any questions are more than welcome, I'll do the best I can to help, but be forewarned....I won't give you the blueprints for creating the new line! You need to figure it out for yourself.
