I'm just gonna say that it was YOU GUYS that made this so fun and so great Without all of you there would be no wyrms so thank YOU for supporting us and continuing to have fun in collecting wyrmies! I love you all! Because of all of you (And D for hiring me haha) I am able to make a living off of wyrmies! I can afford getting a big kid couch when before I had none, I was able to get a more reliable car instead of my old POS that would leave me stranded. So really thank you all, I enjoy working on wyrms so much and its so nice being able to live off it as well <3

I posted in another thread already, but seriously thank you soooooo much for this event!

It felt amazing, just one more way for the community to come together and share experiences.

Huuuuge thanks to everyone who made the con possible and dedicated their time to this.

Also- I'd seriously like to volunteer to help next year if any help is needed.

With Homecon now drawing to it's end, I figured I'd re-voice my praises and thanks in a more "wurd gud gud" manner and less like a hyper humminbird. XD

I dont think any convention starts off the ground without it's share of small snags, setbacks, and kerfluffles. It's just about as much a convention tradition as any. But I think it's very heartwarming and telling how in the very last stream Sciggles was running, there were folks cheering people on, folks going out of their way to help those who were having net issues, everyone rooting for everyone else, folks trying to get tokens for people who weren't able to make it, and just everyone coming together and trying to help one another. It's stuff like that I think that really makes the wyrm game and the wyrm community really remarkable.

It was great seeing some folks break into squees at the sight of their new wyrms. And it was overall very mellow and laid back. I did enjoy the switch to random, as it meant I could sign up, and get a drink or some chips and chat with folks and not worry that me being distracted for 2 seconds was the two seconds difference between chance for egg or no chance at all. Also...so much cheaper for me than actual con even with the purchases since I didnt have to worry about hotel/food/registration. XD

Thank you so much to Zia for all you have done this weekend and all the scribing you do. I have no doubt that without you this whole con event would probably have gone into a giant explosion. XD

Thank you Zia and Sciggles for the streams and taking the time to make all those fluffs for us crazy peeps.

Thank you artists and sculpters who did streams during the weekend and let us watch you on your streams and for the time you took to make things for us.

And thank you other wyrm handlers, for being delightful and wonderful. Chatting about on the chat plans and hopes and everyone pulling together to encourage folks to not give up...or trying to work together to make sure handler and wyrm find eachother happily. It's been a lot of fun.

So thank you HomeCon for a wonderful weekend. I certainly hope there will be HomeCon 2015. XD

Well I had intended to post a topic on this anyway, so I'll just write my post here. ;3

I cannot thank everyone enough for this weekend. The entire CDF Wyrm community is and has been totally amazing. The people, the general feel of the community, and your enthusiasm and bubbling excitement are contagious! I've said it before, and will say it again.....I'd not be able to keep up the workload and late nights were it not for the awesomeness of the handlers and staff around me. You are patient and understanding when things get delayed a bit, (Zoe/Stormageddon whirlwind, anyone??) you give life and energy to the community, and you make me realize all the late nights and crazy con weekend are totally worth it, because people DO, in fact, appreciate all the work that goes into making this game a reality.


I want to continue to expand the game, and make improvements all along the way. Feedback is critical! If you have an issue, I encourage folks to not be afraid of coming to myself or Zia with any problems. We will do our very best to help.


I know I had an incredibly fun weekend, and would definitely love to have HomeCon be a yearly event.



So thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for making the Wyrm community and HomeCon such a a success.
