Alright everyone, slight change of plans.
The first month of Patreon was....interesting. A bit of an experiment. One that, while I believe this platform might work fantastically for some folks, I'm not really loving.
So.
I have begun the process to delete the Patreon page, most of which involves sitting twiddling my thumbs waiting for their customer service team to enact the deletion.
In the meantime, a few clarifications. First off, YES, the $25 tiers first 'point', or 5$ off, IS still valid. I'm going to ask that Zia apply that as credit to your wiki pages. No, it will not expire, yes, you can use it whenever you like.
Secondly, I AM going to continue doing the Breed videos, hopefully still once a month or more as time permits. I will also continue to occasionally run stream raffles for random items, and for Teacup or even Mini suggestions. I WANT to keep doing other Things That Are Not Wyrms. I like the fact that people enjoy my work, and am flattered that y'all want to support me doing what I love.
With that in mind, I'm going to try something a little more open source. I have a Tumblr. I will be using it as a random other stuff blog. This will include sketches, oddball items I offer up as raffles during streams, etc.
The difference going forward is I will be putting up a yip jar. Those who want and are able to donate, in whatever amount they feel comfortable with. There is no obligation, just the ability for those who want to support me to offer tips on their own, with no levels or tiers.
Here's hoping opening this up will give me more freedom to create as inspiration hits, and those who want to support that the ability to do so however and whenever they fancy. The more support the blog and streams get, the more time I can afford to devote to them. Fingers crossed for a sucessful experiment!
