I'm a little iffy on the changeover just because it'd throw a kink in my breeding project (the old 'horsey' noses were a better fit to make unicorns) but as the designs themselves, super cute. <3

The QuiLins are much more "horse" like now, you could use their heads

Sort of, though their noses are more sheep-y than horsey with those slitted nostrils. Plus it'd just add an additional wyrm type to have to breed in, which was more the point I was trying to make.

Instead of adding the hedgehog element to the Wood Borers I think the new face design should turn into a completely new Mountain or Common Forest type variety, minus the Wood Borer features. <:

This way those who like the current Wood Borer design and redesign suggestion can both be happy. \o/

I appreciate the feedback from everyone, and recognize that the old adage of "your can't please all of the people, all of the time" very much holds true.

The suggestion to add a new breed with the hedgie face face to common forest or mountain unfortunately would throw the ratios off whack, as those Types already have their 4 breeds.

To be honest, we polled the community and asked what Breeds folks didn't care as much for, and which they would like to see revamped. The wood borers were mentioned by multiple people, and the feedback for the new design seems to be 85-90% for! rather than against, so at this point I'm looking at the new face as a revamp of the breed going forward, along with the Swirlsnouts, Bright Darters, and possibly the Plat Points. (Need to get feedback on the new lok before I definitively say yes, but thus far the opinions seem to favor the new design)

I recognize this may disappoint a handful of people, and for that, I am sorry. But change is a natural, forward moving process, and those who end up getting breeds they don't care for are, as they always have been, welcome to offer those Wyrms up for trade. Heck, thats become an active part of the community at this point!
