So, at Furpocalypse, I bought three new wyrms! I had alo brought my entire squirm with me, but neither the new wyrms or my squirm had seen each other during the convention, but my squirm knew that there were new wyrms! So when we got home...
Alfonso immediately took charge once again! Al: "Ok guys, you know the drill! Let's help them get out of this bubble wrap!" Flavio: "I hope there's girls in there." Ippalita let out a tiresome sigh, but then followed up with, "Y'know, actually, for once I agree with you, Flavio. It'd be nice to have another female around here." Flavio: "....I always knew you were hot for me." Gianni: "Oh come on, Mr. Flavio! Quit hitting on my mom...it's really creepy!"
And soon, the first wyrm emerged! Angelo: "Oh, hello there everyone! Nice to meet you!" Flavio: "Yer pretty." Angelo: "Um...I am male, but I thank you for your compliment." Al: "Ignore Flavio. Welcome to the squirm!"
The bubble wrap started shaking rapidly, and before they knew it, out popped the second wyrm! Ottavio: "Whew! Hiya hiya hiya! Wow, it's really great to be out of there and free! Free!!" Flavio: "Yer pretty." If Al had hands, I'm sure he would've facepalmed by now... Ottavio: "Well, thank you thank you thank you! I am pretty, aren't I?" Guisseppe: "You certainly are different!" Gianni: "You've got wings!!" Ottavio: "Sure do!! I'm an avian wyrm!" Flavio: "So...wanna be my mate for next breeding season?" Once again, if Al would've had hands.... Al: "Oh for the love of..." Ottavio: "Uh...Sorry friend, I'm male!" Flavio: "....oh...."
While this is all going on, some more rattling and rustling was going on in the bubble wrap, and soon, the last wyrm wiggled his way out... "Well, if no one's going to help me out....Oh...hellooooo ladies!" At the sound his deep voice, both Filomena and Ippalita just turned and couldn't look away from him!
Flavio: "...you're not a female either." Lorenzo, in a snarky kind of voice: "And you're very observant. I am very male." And with that, Lorenzo's eyes sparkled as he gave a VERY friendly smile towards Ippy and Mena, who giggled and smiled back. Guisseppe: "But Filomena...I thought you liked ME??" But it was too late, both females were hopeless lost with the presence of Lorenzo. Flavio floofed himself up, "Hey, those are MY females, they dig ME!" Gianni: "Hoh boy...here we go again..." Ottavio: "I take it this sorta thing happens often??" Gianni: "...you could say that."
Al gave a loud whistle, and it immediately broke the tension and had everyone look his way. Al: "Alright guys, that's enough! So the new wyrms are all male...that's Ok! There's room enough for everyone here!" Flavio: "I want more females." Ippy: "Well, again, I do agree with Flavio...I'm happy to welcome everyone into our squirm, but it does seem a little intimidating with just me and Mena here." Flavio: "We would make nice babies, Ippalita." Lorenzo: "Oh, please. As if she would even WANT to mate with you. Now, ME on the other hand..."
And with that, Lorenzo headed over to Mena, "What do you say we explore this place, just the two of us?" as he smiled his charming smile the entire time and gave her a wink. Ippy was just as charmed by him: "Oh, maybe I can help too?" Lorenzo: "But of course!" Guisseppe just curled, "But...I thought Filomena liked ME??" Flavio, floofing up again: "Hey you, don't steal MY girls!" Al: "Hey, enough of this! They're not YOUR girls!" Flavio: "Who died and made YOU alpha??" Al: "I am Holly's first wyrm, so that MAKES me Alpha!" And, at the sight of Lorenzo being extra friendly towards Ippy, Gianni also floofed up, "Hey! Stop hitting on my mom, you creep!" Flavio: "I thought *I* was the creep??"
And then, a fight broke out! Gianni wrestled with Lorenzo, who was trying to snap at Alfonso, who was trying coil himself around Flavio, who was buried underneath everyone and trying grab a mouthful of fur from Al's back. Guisseppe just curled up into a little ball and wept: "I thought Filomena LIKED me..." Ottavio flapped his wings excitedly: "FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!!" Angelo: "Oh dear...Um...please stop fighting! We won't accomplish anything like this!" Mena turned to Ippy: "Think we should stop it? I kinda feel like we're responsable for this." Ippy: "I dunno. I feel kinda bad too, but I've never had males fight over me before. Maybe they'll just sort it out or something. In the meantime, maybe now we can go find some munchies in peace, and not have them vulture over us!" Guisseppe: "...I thought Filomena liked me...*sob*"
I had to break it up before it got any worse, or before I ended up with some bald wyrms...When it was over, the boys reconstructed themselves ...and then wondered "Hey, were'd the girls go?" I told them to leave them alone, this was enough excitement for one day. Hopefully all of this won't cause any more problems, but I'll have to keep an eye on them for a little while. And, I also had to talk to poor Guisseppe, and let him know that Mena probably still likes him, and that she just got wrapped up in the whole "new arrival of wyrms" thing. He seemed to be a little better, but he's scurried off to be alone for a little while. Angelo seems to be the most awkward about the whole situation, so he's keeping his distance at the moment. Ottavio is flying around, discovering his new home. The rest of the males are basically giving each other the evil eye, sometimes floofing themselves up, but they know better than to get into a fight again. Especially since I'm keeping an eye on them.
It's going to be really interesting having these new guys around XD Here's hoping I can find another female sometime, so I can try and balance things out a little bit between the genders...
He's had quite the crush on Filomena since day one, and she's had a crush on him too, but I guess she just got swept up when Lorenzo made his appearance
