My questions here are in response to this particular post: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=718 (Also posted there, but no one responded and since the summer breeding season is drawing nigh, I figured I'd ask in a more appropriate place. ^.^;;;)
It mentions that you can color token a baby to have a colored body when the parents normally wouldn't, and that if you cross, say, a qui-lin with a mushroom gatherer, it will automatically inherit a colored body and "doesn't need to be tokened." But what if I don't want a colored body?
Is there any way to color/trait charm a breeding between a wyrm with a 'default' body color (qui/angler/growler/etc... where the color genetics control accents) and a wyrm with a genetically colored body (color genetics control body color) to get a baby that has the 'default' body (white/black/gray) with colored accents? Or is that completely impossible/randomly rolled?
Also, if breeding two wyrms with different 'default' body colors (say qui x angler) is there a way to trait/color charm them to choose which of the two possible body colors they end up with (white vs. black)? Is it always random?
One more that is probably already answered in that top post, but not specifically since only mutations are mentioned and I'm pretty sure a Type's defining characteristics aren't considered mutations... what about traits that are not genetically listed, but also not mutations? Like the Moss Hoarder's glowspot and beard? Can those be trait charmed to keep/get rid of? Could a glow charm be used to carry the glowspot over and list it genetically in the offspring? Or are traits like those always randomly rolled in hybrid offspring?
I'm sorry if these have already been answered (in the post above or elsewhere.. I suck at finding things sometimes x.x). *sheepish* I just kinda need to know for my breeding project. So I know whether or not I have to plan on breeding only genetically white (rryybb) babies, and how hard it'll be to get that glowspot to carry into future generations. XD
