While all the other wyrm Types and Breeds are living nature spirits given physical form, the teslas are those same soirits who have elected to 'build' themselves bodies out of clockwork and fluff. As such, they are not 'alive' in the same sense as the other Types. So if you breed a Tesla with a normal 'flesh and fluff' Wyrm, you get a sad clockwork fetus. We have a few handlers who can show you what that looks like. The opinions range from eww, grow, to delightfully creepy, depending on who you ask! ;3
Teslas can, however, be crossbred with another type of metal wyrm, the chain Wyrms, which results in a little clockwork chain tesla. Check the registry, we have one thus far and I've got a batch of chain Wyrms due to come out during FAU if all goes well.
