OK so, I find myself in the odd position of having to see if anyone is interested in Japanese curly willow saplings/cuttings. The tree I planted had some storm damage, and I'm left with a TON of branches. Now, I either cut and root small pieces into cute little mini tree things, or dump the branches in the compost heap. And the idea of the tree spawning tons of babies that make people happy and bring them joy sounds like fun.
Would anyone even be interested in adopting a bitty curly willow sprogling? If I can get them to root, which is ridiculously easy, I'd mail them in a box w a little peat ball around them. To clarify, I DON'T want money for em', I'd only ask folks to cover shipping. I'd just rather have baby willows go to good homes than toss em all for compost.
