Been a while! The move and the subsequent moving blues got the better of me and so I was a complete slug who missed doing picture montages when I got a few new adorabeebs. However, I told myself that with this season I was going to be top of my game and camera duty! Unfortunately some of the members of my squirm heard about what was coming this season. Granted most of the angler crew seemed particularly easygoing since hey, nightmare angler? That's gonna be like an extra toothy angler right? What can be wrong with that!
However Chandra and Rahu being nightlights were not as easily swayed and despite many talks with them about how it will be alright, I woke up this morning to a strange scuffle noise and angry little squeak noises.
BEHOLD. The faces of guilty wyrms caught in the act of trying to stuff my mail into the trash!There was some chastising as I removed the parcel from the trash. "C'mon you guys. At least give him a chance." I said.
"Well at least its just one angler. And there's two of us!" Chandra says. "We can probably take him if...he..."....
"RUN AWAAAAAY"It would seem I had forgotten to mention that Fuggles had gotten the opportunity to be upgraded to a mini since I last talked to them and so they had not expected him to be a bit bigger.
So Fuggles had arrived...and the first thing he did was
...steal my dancing sunflower. Seriously. He just went right for that thing and wouldn't leave it alone. I blame Canada's weather right now. It's making everyone kind of antsy for spring.
Fuggles and his new friend look upon the bleak majesty of snowmageddon.Meanwhile...
Chandra and Rahu alert the squirm that the nightmare has arrived. But its cold and no one really wants to go out and see or greet him."Greet him?" Rahu squeaks. "We need to BEAT him. He's a nightmare and is going to bring nothing but terror to all and um...who are you? The nightlight peers at the strange multi-eyed toothy thing.
Not getting much help, the nightlights decided to see if
Shaboo could help "The nightmare angler is really big! But you are bigger so maybe you could scare him away?" Chandra meeps as Shaboo tilts her head slightly. She tells them that since he's part angler, that must mean he can't be all that bad.
Dejected the two nightlights try to figure out what to do when a voice from behind startles them."By the great toe-nibbler!" the nightlights marvel at the fancy lady. "Who are you?"The fantail introduces herself as Diva. Still somewhat a newcomer herself, she offers to greet the new chap. "Um...well...you are bigger than he is so that may work?" Rahu peeps uncertainly.
"Oh hello there good sir! What a delight...oh my. You are...quite a toothy fellow. Um...nice flower?..........PRETTY!!! "Oh dear goodness!"With that, Fuggles joined the crew. The nightlights are still side-eying him a bit...but for the most part he seems fairly harmless with a strange obsession with flowers and pretty things. Rahu thinks that it is because as a nightmare he has a desire to gather and corrupt beautiful things. Chandra thinks that because he has so much jaw it left less room for brains so he may just not be all that bright for a nightmare. In any event...it's been a good time and I'll probably keep an eye on them all as they settle.
RANDOM PICTURE TIMEI actually got a couple wyrms since my last picture set...but I was a bit slackery than I should have been. So here's some new members of my crew in pretty photoshoot version.

Mazmezz who has probably one of the sweetest angler faces I have seen.
Whats great is I actually have another green bodied gal named Mestama, so I have taken to calling them the double-mint twins.
Just lookit dem toothie cuties. Even though they aren't related, they pretty much took to eachother and are best of buddies.
Another newbie I got is this swanky noodler fellow
HERE. Kev apparently managed to get this fluffle-puff at Furpocolypse I think and he's like the cutest combo of angler and nudi and purple to boot. Just warghargh...so cute. XD
Of the teacups, last but not least I was lucky enough to get
Bloo who is just a stunning fellow. Seriously I love his eyes and his colours so much. He's a popular fellow with the ladies with dem baby blue eyes.
Teacup Group Photo!...dangit Fuggles! Stop Photobombing!Not last and not least at all is Diva, who is just beyond fabulous in every way. I am a gigantic dweeb for peacocks and peacock feathers so she is just...man...absolutely perfect in every way. c: Her feathers and gems are stunning and she has probably one of the cutest faces. She's the odd lady out in a sea of anglers, but someone has to teach this derpy crew a little bit about class and refinement!
....FUGGLES! DXPreeeeeettyyyyyyy.... Finally we have Fuggles who due to his colours is pretty tricky getting a good photo of with my so-so camera.
The current crew. It's getting a bit crowded. At some point I want to try to buy a new shelf setup just so they have more room. Then again with it being so cold none of them seem to mind being a bit snugger.
Up Top Crew Kv1NN4 and I keep the standards and minis on top shelf so they have a bit of space. Also cause the anglers tend to get nippy around wyrms that are too much bigger than they are. I think its a territorial "grr I'm fierce!" thing.
All in all, it is good times and hopefully the next time photos are taken, its just gonna be of the remainder of the winter beebs which shouldn't be too much drama. Then again when you are an angler wrangler, you never know.
