Yeeeeaaah. Fun factoid for those who have Heartmated Wyrms in the future? Ya might wanna register them, and make sure Zia knows they have a Heartmate. Because the way HMing works is that their offspring are the Breed ideal, and may have physical traits not represented on their cards, that are ONLY going to turn up in Heartmated babies.

So, the pretty blue band isn't something that will throw to that baby's offspring. It's a Breed Ideal that ONLY turns up if the baby is from a Heartmated pairing. Each Breed will have something like that, a spiffy characteristic that INLY shows up in a Heartmated baby. In the Growler's case, its large, strong, upright ears, a squared muzzle, nicely shaped plating, and exposing teeth, along with the band of their genetic color in the fur between the grey and typical growler white puff.


And noooooo, I won't tell what the other Breeds HM perks are. Y'all will just have to wait and see. ;D

Sweet! I can't wait to see more. cx I'm surprised I wasn't TOO off by my predictions on the pairings, though those leaf crawlers sure did me in, haha. I knew they would be my undoing!!! Twitch sired many a baby this round. o3o

With some of them it's blatantly obvious, but with the leaf crawlers I found it a lot harder unless they has distinct traits. I think I got most of them mixed up, but I was guessing, haha.

I really wonder what my baby will look like... I have no idea what traits will carry over from mom to baby
