I'm interested in what the natural habitat of Jungle wyrms are, more specifically Acid Leapers as I now own one. I also would like to know what you think would be appropriate for the domestic canines and felines.

Time to revive this thread!

We are still looking for Good, Well-lit, outdoor photos of your favorite wyrms of each breed!

What needs to be included in the picture:

-Appropriate background for the breed (Ask if unsure/check the writing section in the lore area to see if there is info already)
-Needs to be a close up shot to show the wyrm really well
-Needs to be a High Resolution Image that is suitable for printing.

There are already some pretty awesome submissions for Teslas, but I figured I'd drop my Tesla pics here as well:
One
Two
Three

(I have much larger versions of these images as well and can do any sort of cropping necessary to fit the requirements for the book.)

I'll try to take some for Shriekers soon as well since I have some nice rocky areas near my house that would be good for photos. Unfortunately it's super cloudy today so the lighting outdoors is terrible, so I'll likely have to wait until tomorrow to take these pictures.

I'm thinking of taking some photos, but I'm not sure where swirl snouts would hang out (or any of the crystal wyrms, for that matter). Im pretty excited to take some pics, since I have a few tiny gemstones to use. Also, do you need any more wyrm art, since that is more to my forte? I just really want to help out with this book, I'm super excited!

Well the art itself I'll be doing for each breed to keep it consistent, style wise. Might see about doing a few pages in the back w fan art if that's a thing people are interested in, though there would be signing of release forms since I would be selling hard copies of the book.

Crystal wyrms are found anywhere there is natural gems. If you Google states with native gemstones, and see what is found where, it will give you a better idea. IE good amethyst is found in Brazil, quartz or Opal in texas (and other places) etc. The color of a crystal wyrms gem shows what sort of gems they consume and hoard.

Oh, and crystal Wyrms AND gem hunters grind the gems up in their system, so when they expel the...Um. ...leavings? It is literally powdered gems. So, basically. .....they poop glitter. Little trails and piles of it.

I would be fine with making some fan art! I hope some other people are interested, I'd love to see all the variety there is.

Also, I took my swirl snout, leaf crawler, and corvid out today and got some photos for the book (Odele came, but he's not purebred, so he didn't take any out of spite)

Sorry there was no glitter, Paris got a little upset that I asked x'3
