Just wanted to take the time to thank the entire CDF staff and all the wyrm handlers new and old for a wonderful con and gorgeous babies ^-^ you are all amazing and this was the best con of my life and it was because of you all and your love for wyrms and good hearts. You guys are all incredible. Happy Holiday's and warm squishy feelings for all!

I concur with Aria, and not just cus she's my mate lol. This was a great con largely due to the experiences I had there, many of those Wyrm related. Whether we were introducing a new handler Octopus Eyes / Cori to our squirm variety and sending her home with her first wyrm, or chatting with Shadra about how we love all the sculpts she does, how she makes our favorite breeds, and being general dorky, or finally getting Pony the autumn leafie she's been after, or getting Briar & Nin's new muck a home where it will be more loved, getting our first Mini's (one new one rehomed) & standard, having our friends Briar & Nin be as excited to see the x-mas picks Aria & I got each other as we were, Seeing D finally in her partial, watching all the awesome babies get pulled, picking 2 of the teenage mutant ninja Treebie brigade, our first alpha, our first heartmate, our first pitch black, our first glow babies, first strike horn, first nudi, one of the cutest mules we have ever pulled, 2 holiday wyrms, etc.

The people in the wyrm community are just so warm and welcoming. At closing ceremonies, one of the representatives of the charity was talking about how show and introverted she was, how crowds of people make her uncomfortable, that she was just an awkward snail in the world, but with furry, it was a place where other awkward snails come together to come out of their shells and say "HI! I'm an awkward snail to, so nice to meet you" and it feels warm and right, natural and unforced. The wyrm community is an even nicer, safer, warmer island in that sea of furry goodness. There is so much heart, so much generosity, it just warms my heart. No one is selfish, everyone is willing to let a new handler go first, or part with a wyrm to help another get their dream baby, the best interest of the wyrm to go to the best house is almost always the priority.

This game is a huge project and it is expanding at an outrageous pace, the stress on the staff can and has caused other projects to crack and fail, but the love of the community is so strong it fuels the staff even more and makes the long hours and sleepless nights before cons worth it. We appreciate everything you do and I look forward to many more decades of enjoying the best community within furry there is.

I have been in the furry fandom since 2004, I'm a fursuiter, I've DJ'd dances, I've run panels, was even staff once. In that time I have made a few close friends, but for the most part I'm still shy and awkward and not really well liked by many, I just don't fit in that well even within Furry as a whole. This MFF marks my one year anniversary in the wyrm Community through my fiance Aria, my first personal wyrm came from Homecon this year. Within that time, I have made more friends, and some of the closest relationships yet than i have in the furry fandom as a whole over the last 12 years, you guys just make me feel good and comfortable.
