Salutations, my name is SheWolfy! I was introduced to this amazing world by bluetailedferret. I can't wait to get my very own wyrm.

Greetings! So glad you have joined our little community. What attracted you to the game? The collecting? The breeding aspect? The lore behind Wyrms?

All of it. I can't wait to get my first baby. Thinking of making a bed/nest for them, also a short story of my OC on an adventure to find a Wyrm.

Hello and welcome!
If you haven't already, check out the trade forum. You may find some folks selling off wyrms there that you can purchase to join the fun.
viewforum.php?f=22

If that's not your cup of tea you can always check out the pick up request page and ask someone to grab you an egg at an upcoming convention
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=885

OR there's Homecon coming up in September which is our online at-home convention! You'll be able to put your name on the list to draw a wyrm egg of your very own :)

"Thank you. Yes I have looked at the trade forum, sadly looks like most everyone wants a wyrm for a wyrm. Not many are up for sale just for cash.

Didn't know about the pick up request. May look in to that.

How often does the breeding take place and how does it work?"

Most handlers are looking to trade but sometimes they will accept sales, especially if you were to create a thread saying you're a new handler looking for X type of wyrm to join in the fun. I know Sky specifically has hers listed for sale over here: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2671

---------

Breeding seasons used to be twice a year with two "farm" seasons in the off season, though we are in the process of revamping. We recently had a new handler only breeding season and are waiting for the end of convention season to hit in order to take another small breeding season batch.
**Very minor correction here, I will be opening for another small season after Tinypaws this August, and hopefully another after Homecon but before MFF. -HM**

Breeding seasons will be announced in the announcements on the forums.
ESSENTIALLY how they work is you fill in a form submitting the information about the breeding (who the parents are, who is getting the offspring, if any tokens are being used, etc.) and once approved by our scribe it goes into a queue. The genetics for the offspring get rolled out using dice, you receive an invoice to pay (half up front then half upon completion + shipping) then sculpted by Hopefulmonster and mailed out.

If you do not own two wyrms you want to breed together you will need to ask fellow handlers to fill in a stud/brood form that essentially authorizes your use of their wyrm.
