With Winter season gearing up AND a farm breeding(!) allowed, I'm going to take this opportunity to try and breed one of my desired secondary traits, Crystal, into the project.

Therefore, I'm looking at breeding Tuxedo x Cloudburst and traiting for Crystal and Feline. The other traits should breed in okay, since plating is acceptable, and horns should hopefully not breed through.

Next season, I hope to be able to breed my first gens of Cat-bird hybrids to secure the Gryphon line a little better.

I believe that Sunfeather's Kai Nebula is a breed standard Gryphon Wyrm.

I do have one question. In your art all the visible traits make sense given the parent breeds except the Fu plating. As far as I'm aware you aren't using the Fu for anything so why is this plating style being shown? The jiao eye markings make sense in your head plume attempts. The Fu plating confuses me.

Mostly because I can't draw. I was thinking of PGH plating.

EDIT: also, most (if not all) crystal wyrms have plating. I can re-draw that example with one of those instead if you like.
