The first babies are HERE!
(Photos by Sciggles)

Image
Sunfeather's Nox, Male, is a perfect example of a common, omega Gryphon wyrm. He has feline ears and face with a distinct beak, but no wings.

Image
Sunfeather's Nix, Female, is very close to a common Gryphon wyrm. She has ears and wings, but an elongated face that is not a beak.

I'm planning to try and breed more of the desired traits into the Gryphon breed, while keeping the general look of the face intact. Nox's offspring should have (but don't necessarily NEED) wings. Nix's offspring need beaks. Both first-gen wyrms will be bred to attempt crystal and plume traits.

In the meantime, time to make some more hybrids!

(Nox will stay with Sunfeather Stables. Nix will be used for some breeding, but then will most likely be offered out for adoption.)

OKay, since this Spring breeding is allowing only one set per Stable person I'm going to seek out only one breeding this Spring. If anyone has a raptor wyrm (hawk, falcon, eagle, etc), and/or Wild Feline wyrm and is willing to donate a breeding (and I *do* have a +1 token for the rare feline), I'd be very grateful. Otherwise, I'll probably attempt a breeding with my own wyrms to try and get Crystal added to my project.

I also may poke around the wiki to see if there are any Wyrms that have Crystal and/or plume, but no horns. :-)

I actually have a tiger wyrm (who I keep forgetting to register >_>;) who I could donate towards this, especially if you're using a +1 breeding charm on her. Here's Sessei's pretty face. There's more pics of her here, but basically her body is solid colored, all the same color as the fluff you see in the first pic.

Genetics are:
Type: Feline Wyrm
Breed: Golden Toger
Gender: Female
Color: rryybb (which puzzles me slightly)
Physical Features:
Er (xX)
Fe (XX)

Tomkins and I both have rare felines.

I have Shiva [f] and Rainger [m], and Tomkins has Leo [m]. For me, I don't mind letting one of their breedings go to help you with your stable, I'll double check with Tomkins; he may want a +1 but I have no idea. :>

Very cool! If you happen to get one that wants a new home in VT, let me know ;)
