Hi Wyrmie community:

It has been 3 and a half years since Worgen and I have joined this wonderful, loving community and we have enjoyed it beyond our imaginations. The respect that most of our members have for one another has always warmed my heart. The staff always goes out of their way to create the beautiful, wonderful wyrms and, I personally, am in awe of the artist’s talents and love they put into each individual wyrm.
However, from time to time, abuse of the trading system and doing pickups at conventions occur and happened to me personally with Aria recently. MFF was the current convention where our beautiful wyrms could be purchased by either being there personally or by having someone do a pickup. I could not attend this year, so I asked Aria do pickups for myself and Antimon to do the same for Worgen, and I made sure to compensate them for doing it for me. Since I knew that Aria was very good at choosing and hoping that my requests would be fulfilled, I requested certain types of wyrms for pickup (I do know and realize that all picks from the eggs are by chance). Also, in our agreement was if she pulled a wyrm for herself that I had requested and she personally didn’t want it, she would trade it to me. I can say that most of the requests I made for Worgen were fulfilled, however only a couple of my pulls were what I liked but most were not. I traded one of them with someone who was at MFF (which I personally contacted, and definitely got something I loved and wanted). But I also noticed that Aria pulled 2 or 3 of the wyrms I requested for herself and then put them up for trade. When I asked her for a trade of one of those pulls, Aria proceeded to request a super rare wyrm for it (a Kelpie, HiMo or a super fancy Tesla), which I felt was extremely unfair since the wyrm I was requesting for trade was a Christmas glow leaper. To ask to trade a super rare wyrm for a common wyrm tends to be a type of bait and switch in my eyes. If in a trade, someone really wants a certain wyrm and offers more for it, that is their prerogative but should not be requested. I felt it was not good sportsmanship on Aria’s part and I proceeded to contact staff about this unfair trade.
All in all, what I am trying to say is that this game is supposed to be fun and the spirit of the game is to make fair trades to one another. I hope we all can trust one another and help one another when it comes to pickups. We all need to show kindness towards one another. We all have the wyrms we covet and love the most but if you personally have a wyrm that you don’t love and are willing to trade, please try not to make it impossible for some who really loves that wrym to trade for it. I, myself, have made trades with people for wyrms I had and didn’t love but traded to see the person light up with the delight of getting their coveted wyrm. That, I think, is one of the best parts of this game. I love you all and I hope my words have not offended anyone in our wonderful community. Please, let’s respect and love one another. We all are unique and special in our own ways and that’s what makes this wyrmie community sooo fantastic!!!!

Hugs to all, DisneyQueen
