New Wyrm!
This Wyrm is considered to be a Breakfast Breed the first one ever spotted has the
characteristics of different style of Waffles. The one that was found was crawling around in the
Pantry eating all of the chocolate, syrup, waffles mix, then moved onto my different fruit
throughout the kitchen! While observing this Wyrm I followed it back to where it has established
its Den and found the Wyrm family. During the observation of the Wyrms I found living in my
kitchen, the Males of this breed look like he has indentation of a waffle on his head, with what
looks like a dip of butter in the middle of his forehead his younger sticking out the front and has light brown fluffy fur like
Belgium waffle. His mate the Female of this breed also has the waffle texture on her head but
instead of butter on her forehead, she has what looks like drizzles of syrup along her muzzle with her tongue sticking out the side of her mouth, her fur a dark brown like buckwheat mix. Their heads look like the corner or a waffel or possibly similar to that of a snake head.
When watching the Wyrms interact with each other right after meal time they seem to go
through a wild frenzy of hyperactivity almost like a puppy right after having its nap. There is a
lot of wrestling, and chasing each other, after two hours of this they finally calm down from their
sugar high and they sleep for two hours. Leaving a mess all over in the pantry and kitchen, while
looking through at what they got into it would seem that they both seem to like Vanilla extract, powdered sugar, chocolate, syrup, waffel mix, some fruits, and milk

Silver Linings
We’ve all heard the rumor that every cloud has a silver lining, but what exactly is a silver lining? Well here is your answer, a newly discovered breed of wyrm. The Silver Linings are a common breed of Sky type wyrms. They are super light and form their bodies largely out of water vapor so that they can float in the air. These little creatures are absolutely vital to our ecostystem. They consume the water vapor that evaporates into the air and use this to form their bodies but they also spin that vapor into the clouds that we see. They continue to spin until the clouds are so heavy that they break and rain down us. They form the clouds after their own shape to help them be able to hide in their creations. You can always tell when a Silver Lining has been bored because that’s when you see really fun shapes in the clouds that they have spun. Sometimes these shapes will be used as messages to other Silver Linings or to attract mates.

Silver linings have round stubby faces with a rounded crest at the back of their heads. They also have rather short stubby bodies to help them stay light enough to float. Most commonly when found in nature they are either white or blue. You do see the occasional colors of the sunset mixed in as well as a smattering of nocturnal ones in much darker hues. We suspect that they can be bred to many different colors in captivity.

Thanks to Briar for drawing this up for me!

Coastal Wyrm (Uncommon)

Traits:
Whiskers
Tail fin
Ear Nub

A new wyrm born from the energy of the waves, Tide Surfers are gentle by nature and love to spend their time simply having fun frolicking in the surf. They are very social creatures, loving to see who can ride a wave the longest and having fishing competitions to see who can obtain the biggest catch. Tide Surfers mostly feed on the tiny shellfish that are exposed when the waves wash back over the beach and pull the sand away, but also small fish that swim in the shallows. They share what the catch, a social bonding time for their kind. The glowing spot on their head is used both in confusing enemies and attracting the small fish they hunt. As a whole, they are most active near sunset and at night, preferring to spend sunny days lounging in the warmth of the sun.

Tide Surfers can come in a wide variety of colors, from soft grays and blues to the colors of the sunset. The glow spot on their forehead is always present, only differing in the alphas and omegas. Genetic color coding is expressed in their skin tone. The spots near the eyes can vary widely in color, but always match the tongue color, and sometimes tail fin color. However, it is entirely possible for he tail fin to differ. There is a new trait discovered with this type, whiskers. These are used to sense vibrations in the water, and to navigate small spaces while they swim.

Type: Celtic
Name: Draiocht
Uncommon

Traits:
Gold Marking
Xl ears/horns
eyebrow plates

A recent expedition to Ireland has uncovered a new breed of wyrm, though they were found in forests this type of wyrm, dubbed the 'Draiocht' or Magic, has become partially domesticated. Many families keep these wyrms, some homes even contain many generations of the Draiocht. They are believed to bring luck and protection if they so choose to take up residence in your home. We were informed the quickest way to their heart is through their stomachs, offering treats and a comfortable perch up high for them to keep watch over the house will surely net you this wonderful wyrm. Once they have accepted your family they are fiercely loyal to their home, this loyalty can span generations of Draiocht and it is not uncommon to see the family they belong to adopt the Drachoit's image and markings as a family crest.

The Drachoit appears to mainly come in dark cool colors so they blend in the lush green Irish landscape but are characterized with a gold celtic mark that can vary by linage as well as their golden 'ears'. These golden accents can be used to great effect for reflecting the sun to blind opponents. While they are not blind these wyrms do generally have light colored eyes that give off a faint magical glow.

Type: Desert
Name: SideWinder
Uncommon

Traits:
Multicolor
Horns

Recently a new desert dwelling wyrm type has been discovered, it has been deemed the 'SideWinder'.
These wicked fast sand skippers glide gracefully over the surface of the sand and blend perfectly with its ever shifting surface. While these wyrms do have some minor forms of natural defense they mainly take up residence at the base of and inside cacti. Occasionally a SideWinder will be born with colors resembling the Cacti that they live in mixed with the more normal browns and grays that help them blend when they are out searching for food. While SideWinders can consume parts of their own cactus they also gather food as to not stress their home plant too much and risk it dying. These wyrms are relatively shy but if you get on their level and show that you are no threat eventually curiosity will get the better of them. They also appear to utilize their tongues like snakes to understand their environment so it is quite uncommon to see one without the little 'blep' face as we like to call it!

Thorny Cactus Dwellers
Type: Desert
Rarity: Uncommon

Traits:
Spines
Eye marks
Short fur

Thorny cactus dwellers are a breed of wyrm which lives in the desert. They usually live in holes they bore into cacti, which also usually gives them a source of fresh water when they need it. Most choose to live in cacti close to an oasis just in case the cacti go dry, so they still have a consistent water and food source. Thorny cactus dwellers usually live in small family groups. They are omnivores but prefer not to eat the cacti they live in. Instead, they will often hunt insects or other small prey together.

These wyrms have developed their head spines as a method of camouflage and a deterrent against potential predators, and blend in well in their cactus habitats. Their fur is shorter than many other wyrm types to keep them cooler in the day when they must venture out of their cactus homes, but still keeps them warm on cool desert nights. The thorny cactus dweller has colored markings below its eyes that are meant to reduce glare so it can see clearly in the hot environment of the desert. Their genetic colors are expressed in these under eye marks and most thorny cactus dwellers are genetically darker colors. Their heads and bodies are naturally combinations of sand or cactus-like colors, light tans, browns, and various greens, though other colors are possible.

Breed: Cavern Mudskipper
Type: Cave Wyrm

The Cavern Mudskipper lives in the dark bodies of water that accumulate in caves. Unlike many creatures that live in caves they rely heavily on their vision, which is quite sharp. The glowing dot on their head is bioluminescent, giving them a light source in their otherwise dark environment. One would think that would give them a weakness to predators since they are easy to spot, but any predator who tries to eat one will immediately find that they taste horrible thanks to the slime their skin secretes. They themselves are not picky eaters at all and will eat almost any living thing they can get their mouths on. Between their bioluminescence, keen vision, and sensitive feelers they can easily find anything worth slurping up on the bottom of cave lakes. After a good meal there is nothing they love more than burying themselves in some mud for a good nap. They are generally friendly towards people, especially those who bribe them with earthworms, and enjoy the company of other friendly wyrms.

Required traits:
-Tufts
-Feelers

Required "features" (not listed as traits):
-Glowing head dot, any color as long as it glows
-Slightly marbled face coloring such as that seen in mossies, NOT complicated like nudis or any wyrm with the multicolor trait
-Long, tapered, lizard-like face
-Two small nostrils on top of the snoot tip

Other features:
-They come in every color imaginable, from muted browns and grays to bright neons
-They do not often exhibit benign white, but it can appear occasionally
-They may exhibit any markings found in wyrms such as dot line, lace, inkspot, etc.
-Their eyes are often very bright such as seen in crinklers and shriekers, but can be muted and plain as well

Breed: Stalagmite Bug Nipper
Type: Cave Wyrm

Stalagmite Bug Nippers spend their time on cave bottoms waiting for unlucky bugs and other small critters to venture too close. In the wild they are often found living with a mate and the two live at the base of their favorite stalagmite. While they are not unintelligent, they do not have much of a personality or emotions other than being hungry or full. They prefer to wait for bugs to come to them, but are known to go out hunting when they are particularly hungry. Whether waiting to ambush bugs or out on the hunt, they find their prey using the heat-sensing pits on their nose much like a snake and strike with astounding accuracy. Their sense of smell is very strong so are not known to bite handlers, preferring to spend their energy on prey they can eat. That being said, they are perfectly capable of defending themselves should they find themself in danger. Despite their tough appearance, they are a great wyrm for a new handler because they are docile towards people and don't do much other than hunt, eat, and sleep.

Required traits:
-Underbite
-Horns
-Blind

Required "features" (not listed as traits):
-Black body
-Three heat-sensing pits on either side of the face
-Stripe down the front of the face
-Boxy-shaped head

Other features:
-The head is not usually black but can be occasionally. Otherwise, it can be any color.
-Eyes are usually open despite being blind
-Most have sharp teeth poking out of their mouths
-Their horns are small but pointed, with two on top of the head and one on the snoot. They may be black, silver, or gold
-They may exhibit any markings found in wyrms such as dot line, lace, inkspot, etc.

Mahru - Celestial Wyrm concept

Markings:
- Horns
- Floppy/long ears
- Moonplate (Mp)
• Moonplate is a glittery spot on their forehead that comes in three different forms depending on what kingdom they hail from. While most often the Moonplate trait is a glittery white it has been observed that alpha’s Moonplate’s are a shining copper color while omega’s lack the glitter all together. Moonplate is found only in Mahru wyrms.

Mahru are wyrms that came into exsistence when shooting stars fell into the ocean, the celestial rock mixing with the magic of the moons rays and the splash of life the ocean provided. These nocturnal moon-worshipping wyrms are shy creatures and prefer to live in places where they can always have a good view of the sky (In modern setting you might often find them on rooftops). On new moons you can often find them gathered in a circle underneath the night sky singing and dancing gracefully. These little guys love drinking the dew that gathers on grass and are always up for nom-ing on crystals.
Mahru wyrms are socially oriented wyrms. They gather in large groups that are referred to as kingdoms. There are three known kingdoms so far; Crecent, Full, and Half Moon. No one knows if there are kingdoms for the other phases of the moon yet as there haven’t been any sightings. Kingdoms are ruled by a pair of alphas, more referred to as Kings/Queens, genders do not matter. What roles Mahru’s play in their kingdom, other than the king(s)/queen(s) can only be known through observing their day to day habits.

Maheers (working name) cow/goat/sheep hybrid idea
Common/Uncommon Rural Wyrm

Image
https://m.imgur.com/a/uafVE22

Genes:
Horns/double horns
Wool
Fur fluff/tuft
Ears
Eyes
Body can be solid or natural multi-color
Females have smaller horns

These wyrms can be found in both herds and on their own; with specific differences being the time of year. Herds are made up of the females and young with one dominant male. Those on their own are old evicted or bachelor males. They eat vegetation of all kinds and are fairly adaptable to their environments. They can scale steep mountain sides as well as lush fields. They are a favorite prey of snarlers and growlers, and are fairly good game for hunting or capturing as they can produce milk and meat. Their bones and horns be made into weapons or chew toys.

As companions these wyrms are of the silly and mischievous variety. If not kept penned up or an eye on they can and up even in trees! Eating your precious garden and stealing your lady maheers! Wyrms that do not go well with Maheers are Mossies and Lead crawlers as well they might get chewed on if not devoured or damaged.
