2021 Summer Homecon - Participation Eligibility

Only individuals with active forum accounts prior to Homecon will be allowed to participate in streams/sales (You do not need registered Wyrms, just a gray-level or above forum account). Any accounts made between now and the start of the convention will be examined by staff, and only authorized to the forums if they appear to be legitimate. Gray-named individuals who have not been active in a long time and suddenly return will be examined as well.
For obvious reasons, it looks suspicious when friends/significant others pop out of the woodwork for Homecon, only to vanish again. If you do have someone who falls into this category who may be making an account before the con, please contact me. They will have to go through a more stringent examination process than usual to confirm people are not using fake accounts to get advantages.
Stream Policies:
We will be using exclusively Twitch for Wyrm sales/streams during Homecon. This means that only those who are 18+ or have the permission of an adult will be able to participate. This is our standard policy to prevent underage buyers from making purchases which would be against our Terms of Service. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND that all users test their access to Twitch prior to the con. Log in, make sure you can see and access streams on the service. I have recommended we set up a 'test stream' between now and Homecon to ensure that people can test the service.
In order to participate in Wyrm sales/streams, you need to be able to be present for the stream. If you can't make the stream, please do not throw your name into the randomizer for a slot. If for some reason on the day of the stream, something goes kablewie and Twitch just won't work for you, reach out to a member of staff through the chat or through private messages (Myself, HopefulMonster, ShadraAvro). Only a staff member may allow someone to act as a proxy. New or Gray-named individuals will not be allowed to be proxied, period.
Sale Policies:
Please do not make purchases you do not have the immediate funds to pay for. The items will be billed at the end of the convention (likely the Sunday of the con or the Monday afterwards). It is expected that you will pay for your purchases within 48 hours. We will not hold items until your next pay day, and any items not paid for within the 48 hour window from the time of billing will be put back up to be re-sold.
