What is a Squeaker?
Squeakers are like the calmer, more domestic cousins to growlers. They are perfect for a novice handler or someone looking for a more playful and gentle wyrm as opposed to the general aggressive nature of a growler.

Squeakers are often found in grassy hills and along the edges of forests. They enjoy elevated places (as per their mountain wyrm roots) but the mountains are too dangerous for all but the boldest of Squeaks. They often enjoy squiggling into a garden and swiping up some fruits and veggies to chomp. Most Squeakers are solitary, but it isn’t uncommon to find small groups of two or three known as a cacophony where food is plentiful.

When introduced to other breeds of wyrms, Squeakers tend to be a bit shy until they warm up to the bigger group. This is best done in stages with lots of treats and patience. A Squeaker will not “meep” but instead emit a high pitched squeaking noise when happy, excited, or even startled. They are terribly curious so be sure to Squeaker-proof your home and be ready to contend with their most notable trait: Hoarding.

Squeakers enjoy adventuring in their environment and finding “treasures” to add to their hoards. Typically these wyrms display behavior similar to a bower bird and collect items the same color as their plating, though there are some “squawker” (the term for non-standard individuals in the breed) outliers who have multi-colored hoards due to traits such as color blindness. Some breed standard Squeakers may also display this tendency due to things like piebald, harlequin, multicolor, etc. but this behavior has yet to be observed fully in the wild.

RULES
- One Squeaker per household
- Must be easily contactable (forum note, telegram, etc.) to finalize adoptions
- Payment due within 48 hours to either Year or Shadra respectively via PayPal. Adoption fees are listed with each individual squeaker below.
- Priority goes to those who have not adopted a squeaker from the previous clutch, if the babies remain unadopted for long enough, we will open it up to all adoptees.
- Adoptions are NOT first come first served so put some thought into your prompt responses and have FUN :D
- Failure to read and adhere to rules will disqualify you from future adoptions.

Available Squeaklings!

Pink lad

$60+ shipping
This boy is a real spitfire who is tired of hearing everyone questioning his hoard color. He’s got sass to spare and is not afraid to make his voice heard. Shadra does not have a ton of pink in the house and he has some strong opinions about it. He has bendy cosclay horns.
Interested? Tell us about the kind of hoard items you’d supply him! (photos encouraged!)

I am absolutely interested in adopting the lovely red lady!

Given the circumstances, our shopping trips we would have planned would indefinitely be on hold! But I’m sure having some extra eyes on my shoulder while snooping on Amazon, or commissioning artwork; it would be wonderful to have this lady’s keen eye to help with any details I may have missed!
And in coming to a home filled with folks who love to cook and bake, I’m sure she would enjoy my fiancé’s mother’s Strawberry Short Cake recipe! But only the best strawberries will do for this, so there will need to be many a trip to Publix together! :P Moving across the country to sunnier pastures will definitely be better with a new friend! Heck, I’m sure Sweetroll can also share his snack ideas with her! Maybe some strawberry icing would be something to try?

Thank you for the chance in allowing the adoption of these cuties! I hope no matter where they go, they will go to wonderful homes!!

My favorite dessert is a beautiful strawberry cupcake and I think this lovely red lady would love baking with my during the holidays. Red and green decorations will adorn her lovely living area and she will be joined by many Christmas wyrms. I will make sure that strawberry scent candles glow brightly around her. She will be well loved!!!

I'm interested in adopting the little blue lady.

It's not so much that she hasn't found her voice, she's just selective about who deserves to hear it anyway. But not to worry, there are plenty of vocal companions in this house I'm sure would be happy to lend a hand in assisting her in finding the perfect reasons to be proud and loud. Our first spot would be to visit the shriekers of our squirms, they'd be more than happy to teach her about how to raise her voice a few decibels in no time. Our next stop would be to none other than the alpha goblin herself in Nin's squirm. She'd be more than happy to show this little lady how to raise the roof (and also break the sound barrier with her noise). If no wyrms are able to assist, we have several four-legged furry companions that could offer their opinions about barking and meowing at dinner times and whenever any suspicious noise exists. She might roll her eyes at the lack of reservation they show about using their voice, but she'll definitely hear a thing or two. And finally, if this sweet lady wants nothing more than to curl up in a nice pile of soft blankets, I'm more than willing to put on endless Disney movies and musicals for her to sing her absolute heart out to.

Thank you so much for your consideration, I'm sure every Squeaker will end up in a very loving home in no time.

Additional note, if this is Year who is shipping, I live very close to Year and I'm more than willing to arrange an in-person handoff/stop by their work :3 ♡

I'm interested in adopting the yellow boy (:

Initially, I can see my squirm being confused at having a wyrm that speaks out more than what they're used to. I know the older wyrms of my group might not appreciate having a bossier newcomer suddenly telling them what to do. Then there's Sitri, the one growler in my squirm. He's a docile boy and I can see him immediately warming up to this stern boy especially because they have some growler traits. I can see Sitri becoming a loyal follower of whatever demands and ideas this new guy comes up with and doing his best to listen and ease his temper if he gets frustrated with not being taken seriously. I'm sure the rest of the squirm will eventually warm up to him and maybe take some of his advice and be able to have more of a sense of order with this new guy there to help guide them, as long as he doesn't get too carried away!
Here's Sitri: https://imgur.com/5ntwBOV

I’m interested in adopting the pink lad!
He hoards many of pink items but he mostly prefers fabrics and ribbons. Especially if said ribbon is made out of silk or Cotton. They’re his two favorite materials. He cocoons himself if such materials to help him sleep at night. He finds it rather relaxing. He doesn’t like anyone coming near his items if he is not close with them. It’s actually funny, he seems to fancy pink wyrms the most out of all wyrms. He’d definitely be getting pretty ribbons from me and even possibly some soft pink flowers such as roses and lilies. He’d probably enjoy my room as I’m going to be painting it all pink soon.

I think he would adore that!
Since no one has offered to adopt him yet I am more than happy to send him out to you. Shoot me a DM with your paypal email!
(And understand I am currently holding sending him out until AFTER christmas for the safety of the wyrms as D is doing for the winter wyrm sale)
