Sorry to be a bother, this is just more something I was hoping to figure out in time for breeding season since it will help decide how my tokens get used this season. XD

Basically I'm planning to breed Dev and Hastur together (Hastur being the lil yellow bodied angler from MFF who is in registry right now) in the plans to try to get a brown body angler from the duo. Dev is regular bodied, so only Hastur has the colour body going on in this breeding.

In the announcement section here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=718&p=7295&hilit=glass#p7295 It's mentioned that one can use a colour charm to get the colour body mutation. (Though now that I'm reading it, I'm not sure if it's saying it just can cause the mutation but the colour is random, or if you get to select the mutation along with the colour you pick from the charm.)

That said, in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=934&p=10239&hilit=glass#p10239 which is more recent, it mentions the body colour mutation can be trait charmed. (I'm assuming this is only possible as long as one parent has the mutation)

So I'm not sure if I should be using just a colour charm and saying "brown with colour body mutation please" or using both a trait (to make sure the mutation sticks) and colour (to select which colour it is) charm. Or if it's something else in which I'm completely overlooking. Which, I'm good for either or, I have both charms ready just in case. I just was hoping to know which combo to submit come form time. I believe the policy we've used is that you can Trait charm the body color mutation.
If you want to determine the color as well, you'll have to use a Color charm in order to also guarantee the color you want (so long as it's one of the possible colors).
