OhMyGawd WYRMS!!!1!!!
http://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/ge ... ason&csz=1 The count down until breeding season opens. DO NOT submit request forms until this hits zero.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are now gearing up for our 2013 Winter Breeding Season.

The last of the 2012 Winter babies should be going out soon, and we've already made great progress on 2013 Summer babies, which have started squirming their way to their new homes.

However, this season we're looking to cut back on some of our 'bigger ticket' items in order to catch up. This means that there will be no slots for Standard size Wyrms or above. We are doing this in order to catch up on our backlog and have time to work on convention stock for 2014. As we are attending fewer conventions, we should have an easier time getting caught up and getting older orders completed early in 2014.

There may be a few Standard Wyrm slots available for the Spring Farm season, depending on the progress we've made towards our goals.

Limited Slots:
12 Wyvern Slots
8 Royal Mini Slots (These are only for pre-approved minis)
2 Chain-tesla Slots

However, we do have some good news.
Sciggles is insane.
Why is this good news? It means that she has put NO LIMITS** on the number of tea-cups for this season. So, basically, we can continue to fill the queue until her eyes bug-out at the number of orders and she finally relents and begs is to close the season.

** Did you see those two dots? Yes? We're asking that people put in no more than SIX requests for tea-cups at first (minis/wyverns/etc are not included in this count). This is to give more people a chance at getting their requests in. If Sciggles hasn't broken down and started crying by a few days into the season, we will put up a post allowing people to put in /additional/ requests.

Quick Info Section:

Pre-Approval form opens: December 22nd
Pre-Approval allows for people who are letting others use their Wyrms for breeding to put in their approvals ahead of time. You should be using the STUD/BROOD FORM ONLY.

Season Opens: 12:00 Noon EST December 27th. It will run for 7 days, or until Sciggles has a mental breakdown.

** Notice how the form is open? This is so people can preview the form, play around with it, and get familiar with what they need to fill out. DO NOT SUBMIT TO THIS FORM UNTIL PRE-APPROVAL/BREEDING SEASON OPENS. If you submit anything earlier than the /EXACT/ times listed, I will delete the entry without notification and your subsequent requests may be dropped to the bottom of my queue.

22nd is the official date.
Basically, as soon as the clock turns over to the 22nd, you're good.

Was my 2012 winter wyrm sent? I've been waiting since October when I was told it was sent. It's been paid for in full. It has not yet arrived and I am very worried. Nobody has given me any notifications as to where it currently is. It is the offspring of my Iroh and Vasanta breeding which was sent in official one year ago. I am yet to even see a picture of it and would like to at least know where it is currently. If you have forgotten to send it please let me know and at least post a picture to let me know you still have it. Please send it as soon as possible if you happen to still have it.

I believe HMS was actually looking for your address, as she found your Wyrm amongst a few that hadn't been sent out yet.
Could you please PM her your shipping address?

Nalik,

My SINCERE apologies. Your Wyrm is indeed safe, packed in her mailer, and ready to go out. She and a small handful of other teacups got shuffled in the studio, and did not get sent out. I AM in need of your mailing address! as I cannot find it in ANY of my paperwork, notes, etc. If you can get back to me asap with the shipping info, I will have her out in tomorrow's mail, priority w tracking, and will note you her tracking info as soon as she's out of my hands.

I would also be more than happy to take a photo of her tomorrow morning, if you like? It will be a well lit, outside photo, suitable for registration. I can easily repackage her once the photo is done and get her out to you, provided I know where to send the little fluffball. I can actually open the packaging and take a pic of her tonight to send you if you'd like it will just be a rather horridly lit one as the lighting in the house is definitely not the best for 3-D photography.

Again, terribly sorry about the delay, and thank you SO much for your patience!

A few last minute reminders:
-- Please ask all questions by EMAIL (please no PMs). I have set up a specific email address for this purpose: CDFBreedingSeason@gmail.com
-- Please let me know by EMAIL when all your orders are complete and you are ready to be billed - make sure to include your handler name. (See Above)
-- If you are breeding to a Wyrm in the registry queue that is not yet in the registry, please note that on your form so I know where to look for information.
-- Please note: All datacards for this season will be digital only, and will be posted when your Wyrm is registered. This is to speed up the process of getting your Wyrms to you.

Be Patient:
-- Please give at least twelve hours of processing time before asking about any missing requests. We get flooded with requests early on and it can take /hours/ to process them.
-- Please be aware that there will be an on/off duty note at the bottom of the status page. If the Scribe is OFF DUTY please understand that no updates will be made until she returns.
-- Please do not bug staff about when your babies will be rolled. This includes repeated chat comments on the topic. It comes across as poking at staff for attention.

FAQ:
-- "But... So-and-so said they submitted a form for me!" -- I will list statuses based on the information I have. If I show you as needing an approval, then that person still needs to submit one.
-- "I need to change a clutchmate/breeding/etc." -- EMAIL me (see above)
-- "I am ordering a Wyrm, but someone else is paying for it as part of a trade." -- Make sure you put that in your notes.
-- "I'm getting both clutchmates, I only see one!" -- You probably submitted only one form for the pairing. You need to submit a form for /each/ offspring, even if you are receiving both.
-- "Do I need to give you my real-life name? Really?" -- Yes. It is required by USPS for shipping, and allows us to cover our butts if someone tries to claim a package wasn't sent.
-- "When will these be done?" -- See our Terms of Service.
