Hey guys! Hope this is the right place to ask this...
I've never tried breeding wyrms before, but seeing that I have both a male and a female, is it possible for me to breed them both together? And if so, do I need to post their breeding requests on the forum, or...how? I'm still reading through the Wiki on how exactly this kinda thing works omgdon'thateme!

You can indeed. Those breeding threads are just people keeping track of their own notes. You don't HAVE to post them.
When the season comes around on the 27th you will simply have to fill out a breeding request form. Since you own both wyrms nobody has to do approval forms.
For approvals vs. requests, think of it like this:
Handler A wants to use her own wyrm and breed it to Handler B's. Handler A fills in a breeding request form to say "Hey, I would like this to happen." It is assumed that since A OWNS one involved wyrm, she is indeed saying yes to herself. Handler B has to fill in the approval form to say "Hey, yes I said this can happen." That just proves you're not lying about it/stealing breedings.
(The exception is if B is also getting a baby from the breeding. As is the case of Handler A, it is presumed B said yes because B is receiving a baby from his own wyrm.)
Forms and stuff will be posted when pre-approvals open on Monday. This is for breeding approval forms, NOT request forms.
Make sense? I sorta rambled a little. I also didn't go into a ton of detail. I'm sure other people will explain in their own words/add detail too.

Heyo!
I'm sure by the time I finish posting you'll have 3 better written responses by other folks, but here I go anyways! Wyrm breeding can be pretty intimidating, but trust me, it gets a lot easier as one goes along. XD
As for your first question, yes! It is very possible to breed them both together. And probably one of the easiest breedings to do since you are the owner of both.
You won't need to post their breeding requests yet. Later on (the 27th to be exact I think) Arazia will open up a google doc form you will fill out and that is where you will put the information it. It's very organized and easy to follow through step-by-step. And there will be lots of folks who can help you step by step. We don't have access to the forms right now otherwise I would give you more details but overall the process is very simple. You probably have dealt with worse paperwork registering for conventions. XD
You would even be able to breed your wyrms with other folks, so say if you wanted to breed your female with say...my purple angler boy, you would still just have to fill out a form on the 27th with the information. (They have a section that says "which boy is gonna be the daddy" "which girl is gonna be the mom" where you fill in the names)
Here is where things may get a little bit tricky. For every breeding, there is actually two babies. They're called clutchmates and are usually done so that each parent-wyrms owner has a chance to get a baby. Since you own both parents, you have the option of filling out the form twice and getting both babies...or you could let someone else entirely adopt the other clutchmate. Or you could have no clutchmate at all if you want. Each clutchmate counts as a wyrm towards your breeding season total so if you took both clutchmates you would be basically buying 2 wyrms that season.

Amb got aaaaalmost everything right. Each breeding doesn't automatically make two babies. It automatically makes ONE baby, aside from twins. The second baby/clutchmate is intended to allow both handlers to get a baby without using extra breedings.

Awesome, thanks for the replies everyone!

I think I have a better understanding of how it works, so I'll be keeping my eye out on the 27th then

I'm kinda excited about it, actually, as I do want to see if I can get the baby from this breeding and see what kind of characteristics it'll have

Also, if you're breeding and the clutchmate is unclaimed, there's a sticky thread in the Stud/Brood forum for offering the clutchmate slot up. Doesn't put you out any and lets someone else get a baby from that same pairing if you were just wanting a single baby.

Not required, but nice opportunity for others.
