So here in the frozen lands of Canada, Koro has been beyond hyper ever since he heard his kiddos were finally on their way to stay with him. Well, visit in the case of his son Lauper who will be travelling onward with his mom and her ladyfriends. But nonetheless, it's been all anticipation over here and today the post finally delivered a package after walking uphill both ways in the snow!


Koro: They're here! They're here! My kids are here!

Me: Uhhh...are you sure you don't want me to open the package. Koro: Nah! I gots this!

Koro: Kids ki-HEY! You're not my kids! Karzoug: Hey buddy! Koro: Who are you?! Where's my kids!! *puff puff!*

There was a bit of awkwardness for a moment but thankfully...

Cyndi: Dad! It's ok! We're all here and fine! Koro: Oh! My kids! You're all safe!

Hugs were had. This attracted the attention of Luna-Luna.

Cyndi and Lauper greet their mom.

Koro (reluctantly) accepts Karzoug into the group.

Lauper accidently mistakes a nearby hairbrush for his sister. Cyndi is not impressed. Or flattered.

Shaboo shows up to see what all the racket is about and things quickly turn into a game of "Climb Mt. Shaboo". Shaboo was not impressed. Or flattered.

Shaboo's attempt to angler-wrangle did not go as well as planned.

Luna-Luna looks on worriedly as Shaboo contemplates what to do with this squirm of hooligans.

Compromises were made (IE: bribes were given) and Shaboo accepts all the newcomers into the fold. Order established, everyone calms down and the kids talk about their trouble-making antics while at the customs border.

Luna-Luna takes this time to bond with her son.

Cyndi feels a bit jealous and wants to spend time with mom while she can.

So they do.

I'd have taken more shots, but as you can see from the last pic Shaboo was getting tired of me flashing the camera at everyone every 40 seconds so I'm gonna let them all get some time to hang out and settle down from their trip. XD

The box was pretty cold when they arrived, but they all seemed fine.: U

If all goes well, Hastur and Zura will be showing up fairly soon as well, adding to the madness. I expect they'll all keep eachother pretty warm...or at least work together to find ways to secretly crank the heater when I'm not looking. XD

Lauper gets his special from his mom I suspect.
Cooper's kiddos also arrived, but they're wrapped in a box within a box so I'll be bringing that over to her tomorrow so hopefully she'll be doing a photo set of her own lil crew.

All in all I'm still pretty giddy. They're all amazingly adorable and the summer baby photos (and my own photos) don't do nearly enough justice to how nicely done they turned out. XD

So day two begins, or is it day one since they technically haven't been here for more than 24 hours...nevermind the technicals! *waves arms*

One thing I have noticed is that unlike Koro, who took about 2 weeks before he started feeling comfortable moving around my place, Karzoug the lil alpha angler is a mobile and bold lil fellow! When the sun came up, Karzoug took the time to start exploring the surroundings while everyone else seemed pretty content to stay in the habitat. When Sciggles warned he was likely gonna be a handful, she wasn't kidding! XD

Took some shots of him exploring the apartment on his first day about.

First up...Karzoug attempts to climb terrapin peak.

He then wandered about my shelf full of various figurines which are in dire need of dusting. He seemed to get a bit of a kick out of it, I think he just liked the impression of how big he was in comparison to all the handler-shaped figures.

A shelf up was all my how to draw books and reference guides and Karzoug seemed pretty interested in looking through them. Or at least the pages he said looked delicious.

I couldn't find him for a bit. Turns out he found my derp-dino hat and thought it was the greatest thing ever. He's been trying to convince me to put it into the habitat.

He's definitely a bit of a clown. Koro wouldn't go near this thing...it took me a good twenty minutes to convince Karzoug to get out of it.

Finally on the last stop of his tour, he encountered the terrifying black bun of doom Kettle. He was suitably impressed by her majesty though a bit confused as to what kind of wyrm she was. Thankfully he knew not to press his luck or go into the cage.


So far the kiddos are adjusting well. They're not quite as adventurous as Karzoug is yet, I think they're content to just hang out in the habitat in the meantime...probably because it's warm in there compared to the rest of the apartment. Koro is warming up to Karzoug though I do think Koro still is grumbles at me for not telling him in advance.

I may try to see if I can convince any of them to go out in the snow. But I doubt I will be successful on that. XD
