Tacita's Squirmventures! - 9/30 Royal Baby

With my squirm growing ever larger, I figured it was time to show what kind of adventures they have. :3

Mid November when Matt and Schnitzel came home:
Teacups in teacups!
"Mmm, cozy..."
Le derp.

Backyard adventures!
Imma climb this stick!
They found a wagon and the boys thought it was a fun playground.
"Urf, I can climb too!"
"This pine cone's almost as big as I am!"
"Hey! This leaf matches me!"
Schnitzel spotted the neighbors' dog and floofed!
He also discovered that he loves to climb things.
Hang in there, baby!
Matthew wanted to try and climb the tree too, but wasn't quite as good at it as the kitty.
"This leaf almost matches me..."
Matt's not very good at hiding in the grass.
Nor is Schnitzel. Silly wyrmies!
"Hello!"
"Ahh! What is that?!"
"Don't worry Matt, he's friendly!" "Get away from that thing, Schnitzel!"
"Well... I guess he's not too bad..."

And now we return to the present when the hawk, now named Autumn Sky, arrived.
"A bird! Pounce!" "?!"
"Skree!" "Meowch!"
"Eep! Scary birdy!" "Skree! You're my subordinate now!"
"Matt! Save meee!" "G-get back, you, you bird!"
"I'm warning you!"
"The leader of squirm is my underling now!" "Ack!"
"Preen preen preen." "Oh. This isn't that bad, Schnitzel."
"Preen preen~" "Hey this feels kinda nice!"

Autumn "rules the roost" now, as my mom said. xD The boys don't mind, though. Matthew is still the leader of the squirm, but Autumn runs things 'round here.

Now for some derp:
Bellies!
"What is this shiny thing you keep pointing at me, human?"
Funnily enough, Autumn is slightly smaller than the boys. Doesn't make her any less fierce, though. The boys know that now!

Moar adventures!

Last month, the body of my first BJD finally came in the mail and got to meet the squirm. Poor guy doesn't have a face-up yet though.
They warmed up to each other pretty quick with scratches and pets.
"Scree! This tiny human is okay with me! And is now mine!"
Purr purr...

The Winter Breeding wyrms came in the mail last week as well! The Bastion x Avalon baby is safe at home with my mom, his handler, so I could only get photos of my two girls for now. But photos of the boy will come soon as well! He is beautiful and bright blue. <3
The two girls. They're almost like sisters and are nearly inseparable.
The confident Tesla has a cute little smile, while the more shy Growler as a more droopy look on her face.
They had to deal with the (somewhat scary) possessive bird, now named Autumn Sky, for a bit, but Matthew's worked things out between the scared Growler, her defensive friend, and Autumn (Schnitzel is just scared of Autumn in general and is hiding from her).

It also snowed a couple of days ago! It was super exciting for the wyrms, since none of them have ever seen snow before in their new home.
So exciting! But so cold!
Only Miss Growler wanted to go out in the freezing air. After a bit of encouragement from the squirm, she finally asked to go outside for a bit.
Brr! Good thing she's so fluffy!

After a little more exploring, we went back inside when my hands started to get numb (and the snow was making my fluffy friend a bit cold and damp).
The squirm pounced on her immediately, asking all sorts of questions about her small adventure.
"What was it like?"
She described the snow as best she could.
Sudden wyrm pile for the cold adventurer!
"I feel so loved... I love my squirm!"

The Tesla and the Growler will be registered once I get proper photos of them and name them. x3 I'm just happy they're here safe!

What's this? A mysterious package came in the mail today!

The squirm (plus their dragon friend) were all very curious about the box. Autumn commented that it smelled familiar to her...

Ack! Autumn, wait! You can't use scissors!

I took over and opened the box, and much to the squirm's surprise, two new wyrms wiggled out! The two parties look each other over.

Matthew, ever the diplomatic leader, greets the two new wyrms and welcomes them to the squirm.

But then something scary slithers out of the box. The squirm floofs in alarm.

Matthew is prepared to talk to the giant wyrm, while Autumn is prepared to fight it off. The big wyrm insists he means them no harm, his voice echoing in their heads. His apparent telepathy scares the wyrms even more.

The two new teacups, Espresso the dog and Tomato Soup the leaf crawler, leap in to break the two groups up. See, the big wyrm is nice!

Schnitzel is the first to be convinced (plus he liked how the big wyrm smelled like fish). A happy burble emerged from Dagon's tentacley mouth. Aww.

After some coaxing, the rest of the squirm realizes that the big wyrm, Dagon, is no threat to them and they all pile in for a big fuzzy cuddle.


I'm absolutely thrilled to have these three new additions to my squirm. Espresso and Tomato Soup are adorable and Dagon is gorgeous. x33 He's my new fluffy scarf. <33
Everything got here safe and sound, thank you D and Sciggles! You guys are awesome!

If Dagon shouldn't be allowed to speak via telepathy, just let me know and I'll change it. I just figured he had to somehow speak without having a mouth capable of speech. xD

Thank you Sandy! He's absolutely gorgeous in person, and a joy to pet. And Espresso (the dog) and Tomato Soup (the leaf crawler) have the cutest little faces! x3

I went to the beach late last month and brought the whole squirm. The ocean scared the teacups a little bit, but Dagon was absolutely over the moon about being on shore.
"Look look! The ocean!"

I thought Dagon was going to wiggle away into the surf when I took him onto the beach! Thankfully, he behaved himself.
"I'm on the beach!"

Dagon was tired after his trip (and getting the sand out of his fur), so he merely watched as I took the rest of the squirm out on the deck for a look at the ocean.
It was a bit windy!
Then it calmed down.
The ocean is big, beautiful, and scary for the little wyrms. They enjoyed watching it together from afar, though.

It was a fun trip. x3

I completely forgot to upload the photos I took earlier this month of my new royal baby. I've been incredibly busy with college so I completely forgot. Whoops!

I couldn't be happier with my royal prince. <33 His name is a bit of a work in progress at the moment, but I'll get there!
