Questions for D and Wyrm Mixing Questions

I was wondering a few things, like is it possible to make felicine wyrms? Like as a breed, it would have half canine and half feline face with one of each kind's ear? Is it even possible? Then I was wondering, I love the stinger of the shrieker wyrms, can I breed to make stinging birds of doom? Maybe they could have bird beaks with possible crests depending on species with shrieker faces and stingers? The bird wings would be present too. Could we have beaks with possibility of gnashy styled teeth?

Plus one tokens can be used for to make sure your breeding slots number doesn't go down. What token is to have twins or more than two babies? Does the color token work for the entire clutch or just one baby? May I use a trait charm and say, blended face, please, or does it not work that way?

When and if a custom auction happens, is it possible to have a standard or larger wyrm with moving jaw, so it can pretend to eat other things? I've been thinking how much fun a beaked wyrm would be if you could open his the beak and rawr! Gnashy, pointy teeth hide inside!

Where do I find D's email? I'd like to ask her about some sculpting things. Like what paints she tends to use and what sort of sealer. Between a close friend and myself, we've tried quite a few approaches. I'm also curious about what it takes to set something like this up. I've been trying to think of a way to do something I enjoy, like sculpting clay creatures and eventually build a community around them. I just wish I could figure out how to make birds with jointed wings. It never works out too well. I also believe rodents need more love, like rats, nutrias and mice. To find a way to sew little tiny mouse/rat bodies of fur and sculpt little bitty paws and heads. The fun it would be! I give my fail projects to my friend to disperse to the children she knows. At least the fails get love.

What do you do with your fails? Do they hide in a box or do you repurpose them?

This is all off the top of my head for now, thank you for anyanswers.

A half-canine/half-feline is possible, but ears are one type or another. You can get feline Ears, or canine XL Ears, or growler Floppy Ears, but not different types together on one Wyrm.

You could certainly breed birds with stingers.
I don't think you can breed birds with fangs.

+1 Breeding Charms can be used (at any time) to add one breeding to a Wyrm. When you breed a Wyrm, their number of breedings goes down. Most people use a +1 Breeding Charm to negate this.

There is no twin charm, it is a random roll that is done at the time of the genetics being rolled.
Color Charms effect only the individual Wyrm you are purchasing and using it on, not the entire clutch. The same goes for Trait Charms.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'blended face'.
Trait Charms can primarily be used on anything listed under 'Physical Features' on the Wyrm's card (with the exception of Glow - See Glow Charms). There are a few exceptions, such as the body-color trait, which is a type of mutation that we allow people to Trait Charm, and the Silver Phase which occurs in Zhong Lungs. Mutations such as Albinism, Melanism, Two-tone body, Cracked Glass Mutation, etc, cannot be Charmed in any way, and how to breed for them is a secret. Shh.

Crafting questions are answered here:

I believe she uses Martha Stewart craft paints, including clear-coat sealer. We have also used Duraclear as a sealer in a pinch.

When it comes to 'what it takes to set something like this up', I think you'll find the answer falls on having people who can juggle different aspects of the game. Many games never get off the ground because a person doesn't know how to market themselves. Some have troubles because of an artist not being an active part of the community or being easy to contact. Others fall down on record keeping and technology sides of things. We happen to have a good team of artists, volunteers, and tech people around which makes things work as well as it does, and even then we still run into snags from time to time.

I'm not sure that we'd give out advice on starting a game such as this, though. Many aspects of the game were developed between HopefulMonster and Blitzava to create CruinndracFarms and EscoranderEstates. They've got their own interests as a business to protect. I will say, it's a lot of work. Things don't always go the way you want them to, but we keep going because we love our community. You guys make the Wyrm game what it is, and we love seeing it grow.

I can answer the one about a wyrm with a mouth that opens.

I own Big Q, Quetzacoatl. He is a Levithian. Currently the largest one D has made. Also the only winged one. With lots of custom extras.

He has a jointed mouth. So yes he can "eat" things. However his mouth does not open "fully wide" about less then an inch-due to structure and to keep him from looking like he has a broken jaw. As of currently he is the only wyrm with this feature.

If D opens commisions again-to do a wyrm his size and complexity is going to be WELL OVER 1000 bucks.

XD there are no fails D and the other sculptors are perfect, it's kind of frightening really... Their super power is art!

Oh ye gods Kai.......I am in NOOOOO way perfect. Honestly, I'm just surfing the tidal wave hoping to keep my head above water.

No, the truth is, Zia pretty much nailed it. (But then, she tends to do that) Its all about the people. We have a totally AMAZING community filled with people who are kind, generous, and never afraid to step up and help each other. I am, on an almost daily basis, flabbergasted and heart warmed to see the kind of peeps that have cuddled up to the Wyrm game. In a day and age where there is just SO much negativity, pettiness, and un-provoked cruelty, we have somehow managed to gather a group of totally fantastic human beings who continue to spread the positive, upbeat sort of vibe I've always wanted to encourage. You get what you put out into the world....it comes back to you tenfold. So despite setbacks and bad days, I try to stay positive, and enjoy the fact that I'm surrounded by an incredibly cool group of people that, for some insane reason, keep adopting the crazy little fluffs my brain keeps insisting I create. Good thing too, or I'd be buried in the little buggers! ;3

I've had a few people ask me the "secret to your success" and to be frank? There IS no easy answer. There almost never is, for anything worthwhile. My view is, if its worth doing, its worth doing to the very best of your ability, and knowing that you WILL make mistakes along the way. Thats life. It's not just our triumphs that make us, it's the bumps and bruises we rack up along the way.

So I guess the short answer to your question is, you will never know until you try. Don't be afraid of making mistakes, thats the key. Mistakes teach you what works and what doesn't, and it seperates those who have the determination to reach and exceed their goals, and those who just want an easy ABC's of success, but aren't willing to put in the work to get there.
Also, it never hurts to have amazing friends willing to believe in you and lend their support. :grins at a Zia and the CDF crew:

As for Wyrms that can munch others......Big Q and Oops (our great Wyrm Infected, adopted this past AC) are currently the only ones with moveable jaws, and as Kai mentioned, they don't open very wide. I am experimenting with various methods to see if I can get a more 'gaping jaw' ability to work. But, thats another road of trial and error....it might take a while to get right! ;3
