Well, Tomkins and I went on an adventure last night, and on our way back he realised that these were "living" wyrms. Anyways, meet the new members of the Tomkins family!

Image
Wh...at's this? Mum... what are you doing? Why is there a giant black thing in front of your face...?

Image
A photoshoot?! For me! I'm ready for my [blurry!] close up!

Image
ZzzZZZzzzzzzz What's this?

Image
... but I'm sleeping...

Image
Oh fine! Hi mum! Where's dad? Oh, at work? Lame!

^___^ Anyways, Tomkins is convinced hamsters are "real wyrms" which was why I wanted to get them. xD Their names are Mocha and Caramel (by colours, respectively). Brother Russian Dwarf hamsters. The photoshoot must have been exhausting since they're both... or not... WELL Caramel is asleep in the igloo. He seems to be the lazier one. Mocha is grooming himself for all the lovely ladies out there.

They're about two months old, and surprisingly gentle for not being hand tamed a lot. They haven't bitten me, but Caramel apparently bit Tomkins last night when we were picking them out. Either way they're both very calm and sweet, and hopefully will get along for the rest of their lives with us. <3

Caramel is the first little guy (because of the colour).

Mocha is second because he has little brown "espresso or cocoa" beans on his back. cx

Awh, what adorable little ones!!
I love Mocha's coloring the best, with his little brown spots. :3

I have a 2 year old, female Panda Bear Hamster, Gizmoe. Wish she was more tame like your fuzzies, but she refuses any handling and likes to take chunks out of people's fingers. Lol. She is food driven though, so whenever she eats I can get a little petting done before she nips at me. XD

When I first got her, she was very shy. I tried the handling, but only could for maybe a week before I went out of town. I had her stay at a friend's house, who owns over 17 cats. Lol. After I got her, she wasn't the friendliest. Not sure why, but for the past 2 years she's very touchy, and bites any finger, or hand she can. I just let her do her thing and leave her alone as much as possible.

I'm assuming it's either because she was from a pet store, or because she's female. I've read females tend to be more active, and also harder to tame.
