Websites and cardstuffs

This was something a friend mentioned so I figured I'd post it up and ask in case it was mentioned before. I was gently nudging (aka: poking with a stick) one of my friends about her registering her wyrms and she mentioned one of the reasons for her delay was she had difficulty finding the site to actually register. Which it then dawned on me that it's possible one of the reasons some folks may not be registering is they don't know where to go as easily. Typing in wyrm gets a bushel of results from other games and things, and I expect a lot of folks may have a hard time remembering the name CruinndracFarms.

One of the things she said was that she was surprised peeps didn't put the website on the breeding card itself somewhere. Since the little cards that do have the site are usually at the front of the table and easy for some folks to forget to grab up. But if the breeding card has the site in there as well, it may help a bit more than having an extra paper tucked into the bag that a person has to remember to pick up. That said, I wasn't sure if there was a reason for the cards not having them like domain transfer stuff or what have you. All in all it was a stray thought I figured I'd pass along just cause I figure it was an idea. XD

+1 for this idea, especially if it gets more Wyrms registered!

We do have business cards at the convention which lists the website address.
I agree, though, that we should pop a little address link into the card folder itself as well.
I will nudge D about doing this for MFF.

Yes, that is an excellent idea! Make it as easy as possible for folks to visit the site!

I can easily get a custom stamp made and we can stamp the back of the cards before laminating, think that would help?

I do think that would help! You could even stamp the paper bags that the little wyrms come in, if you wanted to.

I like the idea of a stamp.
However, we're hoping to change the website address before the first con next year.
So, I'd hold off on it until we get the new address set up on HopefulMonster's domain name.

Why not add the temporary one as a line of text on the printed part of the card? Shouldn't be too hard to add that to the template and then change it over once the website shifts, and it'd save the extra step of stamping.
