I signed up a while ago but then I never really got the time to post here. I actually need all my handler information updated, but I'm still on the handler list under Unleashing.

Just in advance I want to apologize to all of the people who have been contacting me on deviantArt. I am really truly sorry. I don't want to keep you guys from getting more wyrms, I'm not purposely withholding on breeding Pan, it's just that I got him at a convention and I don't live in an area where cons even exist so basically the chances of me being able to get more wyrms of my own is very slim if I'm not careful about his breeding. Right now it mostly boils down to the fact that I can't afford it and while some people have been generous enough to offer to pay for a breeding of 2...I can't do that, you know? It just doesn't sit right with me.

As soon as I have more security in my life though, I will set up breedings with him, I promise. u_u

UHHHMM! Aside from that, hellooooo. I don't really know what else to say about myself. I dunno if I will be able to be super active but I'll come on here when I can.

Hey.

Just wanted to pop on and correct some misconceptions.
While you're more than welcome to refuse breedings, it seems like you have this idea that you can only get offspring from Pan.
The vast majority of handlers are more than happy to let others use their Wyrms for breedings, which means that you don't necessarily need to get offspring just from Pan. For example, I have almost twenty Wyrms that are available to the public for breeding, and many other handlers have their entire squirms available, too. So, when you do have the funds and want to start looking for more Wyrms for yourself, you don't have to worry about running out of breedings on Pan. He has 10 to begin with, and there are hordes of other people who would be glad to help you out to get more Wyrms for your collection.

This. Most of my squirm is available for breeding, and if you have use of a +1 token, any of my wyrms are available. :-) If you keep an eye on the Clutchmate thread, that can also be a great way to pick up more wyrms.

Glad to see you hopping back in. Welcome back to the game.
Arazia is right. You don't have to get to cons or have people pay for your breedings for Pan, you can snag wyrms from all around the game. Breed when you can afford it/are ready to. :D Otherwise hang out, chat, enter contests, etc. The community is just as nice as the collecting.

Heyo! Welcome to the madness!

Pretty much what everyone else said, there are usually folks who are more than happy to give some of their breedings to folks. Usually for each breeding, there is two clutchmates (one for each parent) so it happens quite often that one side isn't overly interested in their clutchmate for various reasons. So usually when that happens, another person is able to step up and offer to buy that clutchmate. Around breeding season there's often a thread where people will advertise open clutchmates so that anyone who is interested has a chance. Which is a nice way to get some spiffy wyrms without needing to go to a con.

That said, I can understand if one wants to be cautious with their breedings, and nothing wrong with that. Pan is adorbs and I can see why a few folks would be interested, his purple fluff is pretty spiffy. :3
Really as long as you have fun, that's all anyone could really ask for. :D
