Summer Breeding?

I have questions that are probably stupid. I realize that the Winter 2012 babies are just shipping and breeding season isn't open right now. However, I see that there are booked breedings up until Winter of 2013. Does this mean that there are no breedings until 2014 for those who haven't booked yet? Is it known how many slots are available in each season? I read about the restricted numbers and the size limits, but am still unsure. I wouldn't mind getting one or two bred babies and more than understand if waiting is required!

I think you're confused somewhere along the line.
There are no 'booked' slots for Summer or Winter 2013 Seasons.
What you may be seeing are people who have scheduled/set up their upcoming breedings and are just waiting for the season to open to claim their slots.
For 2013 Summer there will be:
0 Leviathan Slots
0 Great Wyrm Slots
10 Standard Slots (max of 1 per person)
100 Tea-Cup/Other Slots (max of 3 per person)

I am likely confused. So, it's just approved between the breeders and not reserved. That pretty much answers my question. I sort of thought I must be missing something.

Yep.
That's just people keeping track of what they have planned.
Obviously, none of the Summer breedings people have lined up are guaranteed until the season opens, they get all approvals in, and it's paid for.

That makes a lot of sense. Sorry for my brain not exactly functioning to it's fullest. It's been a hellish month! Wyrms are an adorable distraction.
