Cogswell (my Great Tesla Antique) has been nosing thru the listings and noticed that most of the other Tesla's seem a bit 'petite'. And there is only one other Antique, a Tea-cup.

I've explained to him that we might not find a zaftig girl with big sturdy flywheels and gears right away...

*Chomp!* "OW!!!! Stop that Cogswell! I need that toe for walking!"

So, if he's really careful, can he successfully mate with a tea-cup sized female?

If he can, what size offspring will they be able to have? Standard? Great?

As of right now, the only other Teslas are the tea-cup size, which is unfortunate for poor Cogswell.
However, we have a special token available that some handlers already have, but is also sold in conventions and sometimes on Etsy.
It's the 2x Size Token.

What this does, is allows a person to, for example, breed two of the tea-cup Teslas, and use the token to create a Great Wyrm sized baby.
This is probably the best way to get a girlfriend for Cogswell.

I'm not sure when/if any more Teslas would be released, but he can only breed with Wyrms within one Species/Size of him, so... Standards, Great wyrms, and Leviathans.
Breedings between mixed-sized Wyrms always produces the larger of the two sizes (with the exceptions of the "Mini" size, which can either go down to a Tea-cup, or up to a Standard)

So Cogswell can breed with a Standard Tesla??
If so, awesome! I plan on, hopefully with enough money, to get a standard Tesla this Winter Breeding Season. If it all plans out, I'd be more than willing to let him breed with it since I'll be making it a female. :3

I absolutely adore Cogswell and want a baby from him or at least bigger sized Teslas.

I second the one above me! I have a teacup tesla, and I REALLY want a standard. If I can come up with a way to get one, I'll do it for the summer breeding season.

Maybe somebody can magic up a few x1/2 tokens?
They magically shrink a Wyrm for one breeding.
Thereby letting a male sire as if he was one size smaller,
and females brood a clutch one size smaller.

I talked with HMS.
She says you can use a 2x token as a 1x if you wanted to use it on two Tea-Cups and breed a Standard Tesla.

Alright sounds like a plan! I haven't made any plans to do a standard Tesla yet because its still in the works. I forgot I needed a 2x token to be able to obtain a Tesla from two teacups to a standard, so yeah I need to get that token first. XD

Hmmm, that's good news for many people!

But not so for Cogswell and I.

I'd really like a way to breed "down".

So few people own the larger sizes that it might not have come up a lot yet, but I feel that I've adopted a white elephant. All these people are having fun playing the breeding games, but I can't because not that many people will want a Great size nor could they afford to adopt one.

I registered because I heard about how much fun the breeding was and now I find myself completely isolated with very little hope of seeing Cogswell ever have offspring. I can afford standards, but the Greats are a rare and limited purchase. To be left in a situation where I can do nothing but leave him sitting on the shelf is heartbreaking.
