Prof's Squirm Adventures

Since coming home, my three wyrms have been getting into everything in the house! I think they have decided that my dressing-gown pocket is the comfiest bed they can find.
Image

My silly boy, Sherman, keeps getting into everything, even in my bead stash!
Image

After I was grooming Sherman and Fauna, I was grooming Aether, but whilst I was doing that it seems that Sherman decided I didn't do a good enough job with Fauna, so he had a go. Let's just say that I needed to groom Fauna again...
Image

But we did have a nice time watching the latest episode of Doctor Who...

...until the Ice Warrior appeared.
Image

Whilst watching an old episode of Doctor Who I discovered that Aether seems to have a crush on the daleks, she started preening and making excited noises and eventually took up space right next to the TV screen. She got sad at the end of the episode when the daleks were defeated.

My silly boy is at it again - a few days ago I found him inside my model camper van. He'd managed to get himself stuck across the seats with his back poking up out of the sunroof! His punishment was this photo, before I managed to get him out again. Perhaps we need a 'wyrm shaming' thread?Image

Yesterday was a nice sunny day (probably the first this year!) so I took my squirm out into the garden for a photo shoot. First they said hello to the stone hare. Fauna was disappointed that it didn't say hello back (I hope she realized that it was made of stone).
Image

Sherman decided to get up onto a high branch where I couldn't reach and stick his tongue at me!
Image

Fauna wanted to show off the first buds on our apple tree.
Image

NO Sherman, STOP eating the sliver birch!!
Image

Fauna, loving the daffodils.
Image

I don't think Aether understood what all the excitement was about and spent most of the time watching her squirm-mates frolicking around in the greenery (whilst probably wishing she was back indoors with her 'shiny metal things' collection). But I did manage to persuade her to have one nice photo in the daisies.

It's about time I posted these, I took them two weeks ago!

Every year, me and my family help at the finish of the London Marathon, and this year I thought I'd bring a wyrm along for an adventure. All three wanted to come but I chose Fauna as she doesn't have a lot to break, unlike Aether's horns and Sherman's tongue.

"I want to come!"
Image

Fauna was so excited to come with me that she spent the night before sleeping in my hat with my pass to make sure I wouldn't forget her! (Taken with ipod camera in bad light, so sorry for the rubbish photo)
Image

Fauna spent the whole car and coach ride to London excitedly staring out of the window. Not much to see here, only frost on the grass verge.
Image

During the quiet before the storm Fauna wanted a photo of her and the finish. It's not quite the finish as it blocked by the press gantry in front of it, but you get the idea. We were looking at the finish from behind.
Image

"I has all the shinies!!" Sherman and Aether are jealous, despite that Fauna wasn't aloud to keep any.
Image

During the busy period she stayed safe in my bumbag (and ate some of my flapjack :|).
Image

"Can I live there?"
"No Fauna. The Queen lives there."
Image

It was a long and tiring day, but exciting. My three are already arguing about who goes next year!
