Teacups without pins?

Can we request that teacup bred babies not have pins?

I'm having trouble displaying my wyrms because of the way they are put on now

Is it possible to make it a request thing? I rather like the pins 'cause I can attach them to my purse or somesuch.

I can certainly make it a request on bred Wyrms, but the pre made con Wyrms its just not practical. I'd have to bring them to con with me unpinned, and have the glue gun set up and glue each individual Wyrm as they were adopted out. In addition to dealing with customers, questions, handling cash and card transactions.....no way could/would I want to juggle that, it would just be a TON of extra work and frustration during a very busy weekend.
The other alternative is to make the Wyrms without pins in general, and offer pins to handlers purchasing them at con to attach themselves. I could have an easy to follow mini printout, however many pins the handlers would need, and all they would have to have is a hot glue gun and glue sticks. Opinions?

The new way the pins are attached is to make them more stable when worn....previously, they would flop to the side, or not be as sturdy. I now in them up closer to the head to give them a more stable base when worn. The unfortunate side effect of this is they DO list a bit to the side when laid on their tummy on a flat surface.

I'm going to work on videoing a teacup from start to finish this week, to show folks JUST how much work a single wyrm is. I think it might explain the length of time they take to create, and why I charge what I do for them. I have a hunch some people are going to be very surprised.

I'd go with make it a request option on bred wyrms, keep pins for con stock. If you're going to be attending cons and wearing wyrms, the pins are only practical. :3 and the head adjustment seems to work pretty well. You're very right in that it'd be too much to juggle at a con to be like "oh hello hang on while I glue your bellypin" etc. And I personally don't like the idea of selling the pin separate simply because not everyone has a hot glue gun.

Asana is really round and doesn't sit flat when on anything so the pin help stabilize her. While I don't really wear my wyrms, I still love the pins.

PS: Yessss. I'd love to see a recording of that. I love watching the wyrmy magic happen.

Edit: Forgot to say that if the "no pin" request gets out of hand during a breeding season you could always remove the option? I know pins are a last touch, but I can imagine doing 50 wyrms and having to double check for each if the handler asked for a pin or not could get tedious.

I personally don't mind one way or another, but having it as an option on bred wyrms might be helpful for those who don't want a pin on their teacup. c: I definitely think they should stay for cons though, especially if you get someone new buying a wyrm. I know if I was at a con and bought a wyrm for the first time I'd be really impressed that it had a pin I could use to put it on my shoulder. Plus it keeps them safer, so they're not getting crunched around in a bag, if they're worn by the pin at a con.

Id love to be able to attach myself. that was the plan if we we able to request on bred babies. But like shadra said.. not everyone has a glue gun. I think requesting on the bred babies would be enough. If its a hassle though dont worry about it

If it's not much trouble, Id love an option to have a bred wyrm go without a pin, too. Shasty cant lay on his belly flat enough because of the pin, and the posing ability suffers, too. Id personally opt for no pin if there was such an option. :)

And ohh Im extremely curious to see that video! It would be like watching a documentary about a wyrm's birth! <3
