This breed is created by me, Nalik/KatMoonlight/Ravenclaw<3 and my brother PikachuLover888

History
Legend says if you look closely at the pyramids at night you will see it is alive. Not the stone, you git, the life you see are the glowing eyes and the rippling fur of many ancient wyrms. The best kept secret of ancient Egypt was uncovered only a few moons ago. A feline naturally covered in spots like the sand that blows and equally as silent as a breeze. Wild are the hearts that dare research them. As they are not common with humans. However, they bond strongly with those these arrogant felines deem worthy. Will you pass the test?
Breed Appearance
Please refer to the chart below for basics. A main characteristic of this breed is they only come in size standard+. Please note that Benign White is required for speckle but was not put on the chart.
Image
It wasn't put on the chart but Egypatin Maus also always have colored eyes unless they are an omega. For information on breed alphas and omegas please refer to the information below.
Alphas
Alphas have the most desired trait in the breed which is having spotted bodies. They can have any forms of spots as it is not a trait but it is a fur pattern that I believe can be breed towards. They can and often have a single stripe down their back like an arctic marble pipefox. Alphas often have the dilute trait, giving them very beutiful pale eyes. They should also have a heavy amount of Speckling, as it is marked as a requirement they have some amount of speckles (lots of speckling is more desired). They often come in the richer versions of the breeds' colors.
Normals
Normals have the bare minimum and often a bit more. Unlike Alphas they don't carry all possible traits but will normally have one of the preferred traits. They have anywhere from an average amount of speckling to a large amount. They can have any colored eyes but black.
Omegas
Omega's only have the bare minimum. Lots of times they will have scratchs and scars, as they are the workers and slaves. They can be found hunting, repairing nests for bigger wyrms and generally working away.
Personality
They act, how should I put it? Cat-like. They are very elusive and not recommended for first time handlers. However with patience and "worship" they form a strong bond that is not easily broken. However, just like normal cats they love to be the center of the universe, believe that everything they see us theirs and enjoy feeling like they have the final say. They don't commonly fight, though. Instead they get along rather well with other Egyptian Maus. They form no bond stronger than the bond with their handler.

Just so you're aware, once you've gone up to a standard size, you can't breed back down to a smaller one.
So that means your breed you're developing will have to be standard-size+.
That also means a more significant investment on your part, since standards cost more. ($85 a piece)
This isn't a /problem/, but it is something to be aware of.

I already promised my token to my breeding with Fredrick but I plan on getting another one before I asked for a breeding from her. Just wondering, is there anyway I could breed growlers but breed it back out again so that only the speckle trait is left? Or would that be too hard?

You probably could but other breeds hold the speckle trait too which might be easier to isolate from [ie. leaf crawlers].

Alright, thanks for the help. I'm a bit puzzled as to how I could breed the speckle trait in. I think Leaf Crawlers would be good, though.

A note on Speckle:

Speckle only appears in conjunction with Benign White.
So you need both Benign White, and Speckle.
