Alright, as promised, I went through all the international payments and then double checked the postal rates on the USPO website. According to estimated weight, and type of shipping (regular first class international, priority international flat rate boxes, or priority international box based on weight) these are the differences in prices.

To make things easy, I'm just going to list online names, and an amount next to them. This represents the difference between what was paid for shipping, and what is owed (the new increased USPO shipping prices) These amounts can be paid via paypal to hopefulmonsterstudios@gmail.com
PLEASE be sure to copy and paste the following in the paypal notes, with your online name in place of Blank...
(Also, unless otherwise noted, prices are for first class international shipping)

- International Wyrm shipping balance for BLANK -

DeadlyNightshade $5.90
Vampiric. $10 for priority w insure $5.90 for first class
Wildhorses. $3
IBloo. $1
Ashwyn. $2.55
Sockertutte. $3.75
Creatures of the Realm
Kvan87. $1.65
Professor Who. $0 for first class $7 for priority w insure

Hekomi. $10 priority w insure

- Albino has been removed as a trait. It will be handled like other non-genetic traits (melanism, two-color fur, eye-color, two-length fur, etc.) which each have a specific way that they carry that is not related to genes/inheritance.

- All Growlers and Shriekers have been updated to have the new FLE (FL Ears/Floppy Ears) trait. This was to fix some of the confusion people were having when they had XL Ears (Pipefox trait). The with FLE, the positions of the ears are non-genetic and simply part of the Wyrm's personality/facial expression. It must be noted, that XL Ears and FL Ears cannot exist on the same Wyrm. XL Ears, being heterozygous dominant, will likely take precedence over FL Ears in Pipefox/Mountain Wyrm crosses.

- Two Bright Darters who previously had Sp(xX) instead of S(xX) have been fixed. There was some confusion at the time on the code for Spines (S) and it got mixed up with Speckled (Sp).

- Tatterwings are being updated to have the Horns (XX). They may not reflect this yet on the wiki, but should within 48 hours of this post. This /will/ be taken into account with their rolled offspring for the last breeding season. This is to reflect that the gargoyle-like protrusions on their heads are a type of horn.

- Breeding seasons for all Species of Wyrms are now being merged. Any Wyrm, regardless of Species, may breed during breeding seasons.

- The public Wyrm breeding seasons are being restructured. Summer and Winter breeding seasons will be Summer and Winter Solstices each year, respectively. The Spring and Fall breeding seasons are being removed from the general breedings...this is to allow for convention prep during con season, and a bit of recovery time between huge massive batches of Wyrm babies.
This is also to allow our resident artist to carve out some time to actually work on projects OTHER than Wyrms. (Art Dolls, Costuming, etc)

- The former Spring and a Fall breeding seasons are being reassigned as "Stable Breeding Seasons". The purpose of these "off season" breeding seasons is to allow Handlers who have established Registered stables or breeding barns to work towards their breeding goal in smaller batches, more frequently throughout the year. These seasons will be VERY limited slots, only as many as can be fit into the current work schedule. Slots will be divided equally between stable Handlers requesting breedings, on a round robin basis.
To register your breeding stable/barn/etc. all you need to do is post in the section of the forums entitled Breed Planning. Those interested in starting their own stables should chose a stable name, and post information on at least one goal Breed they intend to work towards. All goal breeds must be OK's by HMS before being considered official goals. (This is simply to ensure a goal breed is feasible as far as design/sculpting/creation is concerned)
For those with multiple parties involved in the breeding goals, please be aware that ALL breedings during the stable seasons count towards the total number of slots, regardless of which stable member outs in the request. These mini seasons will run for a single week, starting Spring and Fall Equinox each year.

- For those Handlers who establish stables and successfully breed a new goal Breed of Wyrm, the following perks are bestowed. Please note, to be considered an established New Breed, the resulting bred offspring MUST demonstrate consistent design and traits for THREE successive generations.
Once this is achieved, the stable is allowed a 6 month exclusivity privilege on the Breed. What is means is that for a period of 6 months from the confirmation of the new Breed being established, the breeder stable may be the only ones to breed that particular breed. They may, as they see fit, adopt out the bred babies for a fee equal to the cost of the three generations it took them to establish the line. This is to allow the stable a chance to recoup some of the cost of creating a new Wyrm breed. After the 6 month limit, the newly established breed will be considered "public", and the breed may turn up in blind draws as convention stock. Obviously, the stable may still breed offspring of these breeds and re-sell them, but the max price (3 generations) still applies.
Handlers who establish new breeds do so with the understanding that ALL Cruinndrac Farms Wyrms belong to HopefulMonsterStudios, and that participating in the breeding game does not imply a transfer of copyright.

- "Teaspoon" Wyrms - Whilst meandering through the studio, D. came across a baggie with a bunch of itty bitty heads from pre-breeding game Wyrms. These were intended for the first version of the Teacup Wyrms, and these particular heads never got attached to their respective bodies. They are not something that would work with the current Wyrm breeding, ut rather than simply throw them away and waste them, they will be assembled and posted to the HopefulamonsterStudios Etsy page in small batches. They will NOT be breedable, but rather will be sold as pre-game collectible Wyrms. There will be a limit of 3 Teaspoon Wyrms per person, to allow more people to snag one of these tiny, miniature curiosities.

- The Wyrm breeding charms will be available two ways....at conventions, as a blind bag choice for $10 each, or online via Etsy, for $14 each (plus shipping) for your choice of charm. Again, a limit of 3 per person per purchase. (You can have more than 3 charms, its just 3 per person, per purchase, to allow more handlers a chance.)

Etsy shop is

Whew, tons of news! I was hoping a post like this would be coming along soon. Thank you HM for compiling everything into one post.
I have a question though. Out of curiosity why has the price of bred babies increased again? Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm just curious and I'm sure other handlers will want to ask the same. May as well get a clear answer out where people can read and not have it asked over and over in different locations. I assume it's due to the increase of the amount of hours you have to work on them? And also that you live off this art, etc.?

...Also I guess I'd better talk to Fishy and Year about a stable name!

^ I saw the answer to this somewhere, before she was undercutting herself, and in order to pay herself a decent living wage the prices slightly went up. This covers materials, time+labour, and so she can make some thing of a profit!

And I think these where the prices for the last breeding season.

Ope, all Wyrm prices increased for 2013 slightly. The Teacups only went up 5$ for a bred baby, convention and online stock stayed the same. The rest of the Species did increase a bit, and yes, it's to take into account the time and work they take. I've been scolded by the hubby, who watches me spend hours upon hours toggling between the wiki pages of the two parents, trying to make sure the babies have remeblences to their parents and look cute. Pus, unfortunately, the postal shipping increase effects more than just what it costs ME to ship a Wyrm. It effects MY cost for fur, clay, glass eyes, paints, and all the other physical supplies that actually go into making the Wyrms themselves. I'm not the only one who had to raise their shipping costs to cover the increase...so did my suppliers. The horn apoxie, especially, is going to go up, becasue they ship based on weight. :/. ( understandable, but the stuff wasn't cheap to begin with)

The upside is that, barring a complete collapse of the US economy/dollar losing its value entirely, I don't forsee any Wyrm price increases for quite a while. I think these prices will allow me to keep up with the demand, while covering costs and providing a loveable hourly wage.

And no prob! I know its a Wall o' Text, but I figured it was better to get it all posted at once.

More to come, actually! I just crashed at about 2:30 am, but will be finishing writing up BASIC genetic rules. Not going to give everything away, but we will at least post the general way most things are charted to make it easier for breeders to achieve their breeding goals. ;3 Certain traits are quirky, and will require handlers to watch the results of other breedings/offspring to see what is required to get that particular Trait to surface.

And now, off to breakfast, and then Wyrms! Going to try and post the photos for international Wyrms today!

I am curious about the stables part, if we already have our goals up does that make us a stable already?

Also about making up our costs, could you explain that a little more as I am confused. Do they pay more for our wyrms or do you not get the money or? I may have read it wrong but it still seems confusing. Sorry!! Also would expanding the gene pool by trying to breed more of the type we need be allowed in spring/fall?

If you already have a thread, if you could just edit the title to something like:
(Barn name) - (Breed) Project

The main person, whomever posted the first images/thread should be the 'Barn' that it is under.
You should also list any assisting Handlers on the main thread as well, somewhere near the top so we can keep track of who is part of which projects.

(The other part of your question, I'll let HMS answer)

Expanding the gene pool, no. The stable seasons will be JUST for breeding towards new breeds. IE crossing X with Y to work towards getting the traits you want. They are going to be small seasons, and are basically just to allow stable handlers to not have to take 2-3 years to get anywhere close to their goals. (Because I know cutting the seasons down to 2 per year would make any breed goals take foreeeeeever)

Basically, the way the stable perk is handled is you out in your breeding requests for the new breed babies. You pay the regular breeding fee. I make the babies. You get photos of them, and get to resell them for Up To the cost of the three generations it took to prove the breed. (IE, you could resell them for just the $35 breeding cost, or $40, or any amount Up to $105.....not that I expect folks to jump at a Teacup for over $100, but hey, you never know)

Sounds wonderful! Thanks for the thorough explanation of the price increase for the bred babies!

I'll be sure to send you the extra shipping for the wyrms. <3 Also, if I may be so bold as to ask, but will my order be done first after the international wyrms? If not I totally understand, the only reason I'm concerned is that I will be undergoing an address change eventually [in April] and I just want to make sure my wyrms end up in the right place, with me. c:

The stable/barn ideas sound great! Moosee and I will be sure to organize our breedings for the arcane; I know I have just one I believe for them, unless I can secure another one somehow.

Edit: Zia mentioned the fairies would probably go on etsy; will they be egg draws, or just the wyrm picture? I'm dying to get my hands on a flutterling and crinkler.
