I've been noticing that people have mentioned there's a wyrm chat? But I've seen no mention of it here on the forms, I looked around and saw its only being posted on CS? As well as many more current updates in detail on the winter breeding season? (Such as the postage increase and the grouping for priority)

Is it possible to attempt to reroute most of this information back to this form? I know that I and many other handlers are members of this form and just one of the other sites DA, FA, CS. Instead of having to search through four websites for chat rooms, newer updates in detail about breeding seasons. They could be posted here so everyone can see?

I'm on here, DA and FA, I'm not a member of CS. And I know many people perharps don't want to join another form to get updates, keep track, and interact more closely with other handlers. This may make contacting other handlers for breedings eaiser as all the information will be in just one place, rather then having to jump around to 4 different sites to contact people and try to find updates.

-side note: after more digging I noticed more vital info only getting posted to CS such as what the groupings mean, the ustreaming links, last day of payments (I have a friend who paid a diposit and inquired about s&h, I know he'd love to know about the diposits-payment due by dates!/also not on CS) is it possible for this important information to be posted MOSTLY here, or somehow have it uptodate on all the sites? Rather then site jumping and back reading through several CS forum pages?

That's the wyrm handler chat. We usually update on CS individually when we're hanging around and normally have a friday night handler chat where most of us are around. You do NOT need an account to join in. You can be a guest and simply change your name.

Anyway, HM has said this is now the central for wyrm news so when stuff pops up on CS I'll cross post it for you. :3 (Minus official wyrm stuff. That's Arazia and HM's job. Wouldn't wanna kidnap that unless they need the help.)

Sorry, but that using CS as a central for wyrm updates seems more then a little confusing to me. I honestly belived that CS forum was a fan page, simmiler to the CS thread here on this fourm. A place for fans of the other site to chat about it. CF has it's own forum here, why can't this forum be used instead for it's intended purpose of providing handlers with a central hub for all things wyrmy, instead of using another game's forum?

As this game grows it maybe easier to find commonly asked queastions if their in one place, rather then somewhere else. Using this forum's search funcution a new handler could find out why there are groupings in large season breedings - rather then back reading through several pages on a different game's forum.

If it's an issue of server space, or money running this forum. I know that I as well as others would most likely be more then happy to help donate towards the upkeep and maintence of this forum.

-Seeing that you don't nee dto join to talk in another forum, slightly troubles me. Only on the basis that perhaps someone could use someone else's username to attempt to arrange a breedings or pretend to be another handler. I know this is highly unlikely, but given that HM has already had to ban someonne for attempting to register someone else's wyrm. It seems safer to use this forum for arrangeing breedings, and getting information from.

Layout wise this forum is easy to navagiate, If all the the central updates where posted HERE, they would be FAR eaiser for ALL handlers to find, no matter what site they normaly operate from, or if they operate strictly from email. There would be threads for updates on the shipping and postal rates going up, another thread for what the grouping and piority mean, threads posting the chat rooms and ustreaming links. All in one place on the forum that was built for the game.

I apologize if this seems nitpicky, it just seems eaiser to use the forum for the wyrm game, then to dig through or hope something from another game's forum gets crossposted back to the wyrm game's forum.

And it would be nice to see this place more active in general. Instead of only coming to life when major things happen or when cons come up. As well as using this forum for everyone to look to when it comes to cons for meetups, photoshoots, and getting any and all information from.

Have a good day at work despite the busy-ness of it. Pop in the handler chat some time. It's most active on friday nights and makes chatting/showing off wyrms/breeding program planning pretty nice.

I think some misinterpreting is happening here.
Let me clarify some things...

Wyrm Chat:

The Wyrm Chat is has never really been an 'official' thing.
It is something run by the people on Chicken Smoothie.

There was a mention of it on the forums when they first made it, but honestly, I'm not (and I doubt HMS will have the time either) giving up my Friday Nights (or other nights) to moderate the chat. I'll pop in sometimes to answer questions, but otherwise it's mostly just an unofficial 'get together' hosted by the CS people.

Ustream Links:

Ustreaming links /are/ cross-posted to DA/Forums.
However, I take them down after the stream is over.
I admit, I sometimes don't take them down on the thread, because it would confuse the run of a conversation on the thread about them.

Other Important Information:

Important information, such as payment dates /has/ been crossposted to DA and here.

EDIT: It may not be 100% clear in the documentation, but if you pay a deposit, you are expected to pay the remainder + shipping/handling when your Wyrm is complete. That means your friend can wait, and then ask HMS for a 'bill' when their Wyrm(s) are completed and ready to ship out.

^ yes I saw -payment date- and my head boggled and went -wait does this mean ALL payments even the diposit ones?

As for the rest, Shara posted the chat link, so now it will be eaiser to find on here, I was honestly confused as I kept seeing references to a chat yet seeing no links.

I've seen the ustreaming links when HM has posted them to FA, but not the recent ones- we operate on slightly different sleep-wake schedules so I've missed them.

Hm's update is good though, I was trying to find any updates and details and couldn't locate any and went hunting found them all on CS and was very confused as to why they where there instead of here.

- ps once again you guys rock for being able to handle all of this, and keep track of such a large squirm of handlers.
