My New Squirm

I finally have my own squirm! (I had my lovely Shitake from AC this year, but I couldn't stop there, right?)
At FurFright 2012, I picked out a pretty egg from D's basket, and got a lovely little mule teacup. He has the softest striped fur, and his glow-in-the-dark face spots reminded me of stars, so I named him Starbright.
Later, I was attracted to another pretty egg, and the teacup who hatched from it had the most adorable face! (but don't tell her that...she is WAY too fierce to think of vanity!!) She is a Mountain wyrm, and a Shrieker, so I named her Banshee. Her tail has the beautiful irridescent green stinger of her kind, and she is showing it as she floofs to defend her (my) new jewelry hoard.

Yay for new wyrms!

I absolutely adore your shrieker. <3 I hope I can one day nab a breeding with her and DarkLadyPhoenix's Raven to get a third Shrieker in the population.

New Wyrm added to my Squirm!!
Here is Inara, the newest wyrm in my little family. I got her from the Art Show at MFF 2012. She is sterile, sadly (cuz wouldn't her babies be AWESOME???) and she is based on the character of the same name from the TV show 'Firefly'. I fell in love with her detailed face and pretty tail feathers right away. I just adore the little flashing gems on her cheeks and forehead!
As with her inspiration, Inara loves the finer things in life, including a good book or two. And if that book happens to be bound in gold and jewels, so much the better!

I wanted to introduce my new 'mini' wyrm, Lavendel. She is one of the new 'tea theme' wyrms D promised to make, and she is based on Lavender Tea. I fell in love with her the moment I saw her, and I didn't hesitate to adopt her when she was displayed on Saturday at Fur The 'More in Baltimore. I was going to call her Lavender, but a pretty purple teacup wyrm already has that name, so I went with the German version of the word. :D
She is just the right size to wrap around my neck, and is surprisingly warm.

Here she is protecting the first daffodil of the season from the heavy winds that have rocked our trees.

She decided to see what all the birds were getting so excited about...was this stuff good to eat?

Wow, the winds knocked down a huge pine tree on our front lawn! Nothing was damaged except the tree, thank goodness! Look how rotten the inside of it was.

I can't really tell you how delighted I am by this beautiful wyrm friend! I will show her off at all my conventions. Thank you for creating her, D!
