Best way to display your Wyrms?

Particularly those of you with feline friends.....I know our cats look at my Wyrms like they are fluffy, delicious, chew toys. How do you show off your fuzzy friends at home or work? So they have their own little house? A neat they all curl up in? Are they perched on your bookshelf?

Mine usually stay on top of my tv stand since my cat never goes up there. But eventually, I'd love to make a little habitat or something for them XD

I still need to make a habitat for my smaller Wyrms. I know that the cats won't mess with the bigger one when it comes. I'm thinking of hitting up a thrift store/resale shop and seeing what kind of neat stuff I can find.
I've also considered stringing up some kind of cloth so they can cling to that and be displayed.

I've personally been planning to find a special spot for mine. I have several curtains in my room she/he could cling to but I feel like my wyrm would get knocked around too much if I did that so he/she will probably have to relax with my dragons on my bed's headboard shelf. Which is fine by me because then when I sleep I'll have my wyrm friend nearby.
I don't have cats indoors and my dogs don't come upstairs so I think I'm pretty set about animals not damaging my wyrm/any future wyrms.

I still have to finish my wyrm's habitat, but in the end they'll be comfortable in an artificial bonsai tree with nests, little hollows in the tree, and all of that fun wyrmy stuff!
But I originally tried Arazia's cloth idea, but when I made Cabbage his sweater everyone moved to a temp-nest on my desk, since it covers his belly pin. Although, I think that they're adorable in the big Wyrm pile that results from the nest X3

One of our cats Wyrm-napped Halie in the middle of the night. O_o
She and Sour usually stay on the little table beside the couch in our living room, but I had been setting them with me on the couch to watch us play Harvest Moon. XD Well, before going to bed, I set the two of them on the arm of the couch, since the cats didn't seem interested in the little Wyrms at all.
In the morning my roommate walks into the kitchen to find a lump of black hair in the middle of the floor. Apparently Halie went for a trip.
Pretty sure it was the old cat, because if it was the little cat, there would have been nothing much left of Halie. ;__; But she doesn't even have any teeth marks on her head and no fur damage, so we pretend that she just got bored and went wandering. ^_^
But now Sour and Halie sit up on the computer desk, which is too cluttered for the cats to get on. XD

Ive had to keep Chi hidden so far to keep her out of reach of my cats. But Ive been looking into getting some sort of decorative birdcage for display purposes

Thankfully we don't have a cat yet, so Quirenox lives on the filing cabinet next to my computer desk. The bookcase is too full of books and Windstones. The others are all temporarily living on the mantle of the fireplace until I get the others sent out to their proper homes. Now that I have more than one wyrm, I may need to find them a better place to stay. I think I spy a line of books that can house a wyrm on top. It is quite the challenge finding space in this apartment!

I curl Kishiko (my standard) up and put Roz and Laochra inside of his curl. xD Then I put them on top of my moose pillowpet...and my bed is against the wall so sometimes they rest against it too. If my bed weren't against the wall they wouldn't be able to stay on it. TuT
Don't have any cats and my dog doesn't have interest in taking our things...we taught her no a long time ago. She used to chew up my schlicht farm animals though, only when she was a puppy. ;-;

My two have found a nice, comfy spot on one of our bookshelves. Unfortunately, they've also fallen in love with a creature that followed me home from Comic Con....
