Hello there everyone!
Let me begin with a disclaimer that I don't actually have a wyrm yet, so I'm not an official registered user on the other site. My friend linked me to this place the other day, and I fell in love with these little cuties! Actually I was tryin got do a similar site with my crocheted dragons a few months back, but that failed miserably, so I'm really glad that there's a prospering site like this!
I'm in love with the fuzzy little adoraboos <3 I don't currently have the funds to buy a wyrm right now, but you can bet your ears I'll be saving up for one! And then waving it around happily once I do~
About me, however, I'm a bio major born and raised in California! I make and sell tiny crochet yarndragons and crocheting is my passion! Right now I'm working on a dragonscale hat. I love baking, though dorm life means I don't do it too often, and I waste away my life on the internet.
Nice meeting y'all!

Welcome aboard Meesh!
It's actually some good timing, I think next month is the annual HomeCon where folks can get wyrms during online streams. It's basically handy for the folks who are not really able to make it to conventions but want the fun of trying to pick out their own egg.

If I recall right, its gonna be around Valentines weekend, so if you wanted a chance to get your first wyrm, that's prolly one of the upcoming opportunities to do so (not counting folks doing resales in the trading boards obviously)
That said, I hope you have a good time here and see ya about!

Welcome welcome!
I concur with Amba, keep your eyes peeled in upcoming Homecon. Also be on the look out for any pulls for first time handlers only, that might be a quick way to get into the game!

:O Oh goodness, that's a thing? Is it very hard to get a new fluff? I'm worried there'll be a lot of people pouncing the fluffs before I get a chance at one- though I'll certainly look for new-handlers-only slots.
That does give me less time than expected though! I'm a broke college student so I was hoping to earn myfirst fluff via comissions *runs to set up a thread*
Thank you all so much for the warm welcome and telling me about homecon!

Firstly, welcome aboard! You'll have fun here and soon have an unreasonable number of them like many of us do XD
Secondly, definitely make sure to jump on HomeCon. It's a great opportunity to not only get yourself a wyrm, but also get some art done by many of the handlers here. We've got a lot of talented people around, so you'll fit right in. ^^ And hey, if you don't get one at HomeCon, there's always wyrms up for grabs in the trading post.
