Alright new handlers and old hats alike, tell me about your wyrms. I'm curious about their personalities and how you came up with them/discovered them. What about style?

For example when I got Azulon I knew nothing about him but all of a sudden I loved him crawling around in my sculpture. He's now an artistic wyrm. As for style, I always wanted to give him a little scarf, so now he's going to wear one of those and his hair does a little flip inspired by how Cobolt has a mohawk. He has no connections with the rest of the wyrms, though. I'd really love for him to have some friends.

So, tell me about your squirm! How do they get along?

Well, Tuppence seems to be becoming a pretty reserved little girl. She's cuddly and friendly and really likes things that also have gears. She stole my pocket watch the first day I had her home. I figure she's got a slight vanity touch too; her fur is always far tidier than Carlin's.

Of course, Carlin is a little brat, so he's living up to his namesake. He floofs a lot too, the blustery little poser. If and when I get another male Wyrm, he's going to be hilarious, because he's a pushover. He also thinks my creature Ray is the best thing in the world and harasses him to no end.

The two of them actually get along really well and follow each other everywhere; for example, if one perches on my shoulder, the other's got to climb right up there and settle down next to them.

As for how I came up with the personalities.... I'm realizing they're actually based in part on my cats, but without the occasional bickering.

I have made a human form of my wyrms so I have included some tidbits of what they like to do if they were human in mine. <3 Antigone and Sour belong to my roommate.

~ Halie ~

Being an angler eel, Halie is very overbearing and stubborn. She's the dominant alpha and is not afraid to prove it. She will bite.

After she accepts a wyrm as part of her squirm, her motherly side comes out. She will do anything in her power to protect them and is quite diligent to make sure everything is available (food, shelter, etc) and taken care of. A little bit of a neat freak, it will be clean or it will go outside.

Concerning Sour
Though she might not act like it in public, Halie considers Sour as her younger brother that needs to be watched over (which makes sense since they were both from the AC clutch). Scolding him is her way of showing that she loves him.

Concerning Antigone
Halie is eager to show that she is the head honcho in the house whenever Antigone is near. Though, most of the time she is butting heads with the growler, Halie has been known to back Antigone up when their agendas aline and a common target has been spotted.

Concerning Plume
She has little tolerance when it comes to annoying things and thus, does not tolerate Plume for long periods of time. Halie's thinking is that Plume is Antigone's problem child and instead of dealing with her, will blame Antigone for what the purple leaf crawler is doing that has upset her.

~ Plume ~

She's as carefree as any leaf crawler can be. She's a simple wyrm that loves to go where the leaves take her. Always cheerful, she doesn't seem to have a mean bone in her body but watch out, if something is suddenly broken it is usually her mischievous side playing around.

She loves making new friends but tends to not understand personal boundaries very well; the only exception is with Antigone. Plume knows exactly when the time to leave her alone is (one can only assume after many times of crossing that line).

As a hobby, she loves making her clothes more 'her' and spends most of her money on beads to make kandi bracelets. She makes most of it back when she sells them off of her when she hits the raves. Multicolored and loud music, count Plume in for a great time out!

Concerning Antigone
Anitgone is like the big sister that she never had. Although, she might not be fun or energetic, but she's there and that's all Plume needs when she wants to talk about something. Though, she has learned when to divert her attention to something else (usually in another room) at the last possible moment before Antigone has had enough of her chattering.

Concerning Sour
Sour is the best playmate Halie has. He always seems to be doing something fun and she would like to be a part it. He doesn't seem to get annoyed at her as easily as the other two wyrms in the squirm so that's a big bonus right there. He's just fun.

Concerning Halie
A nagging mother. Basically Plume's thoughts of Halie in a nutshell. Though, it's an odd curiosity that she acts nicer to fun Sour than towards fun Plume and she hasn't figured out why. She doesn't spend much alone time with Halie since the angler's fuse is smaller than Antigone's and in Plume's mind, she's much more meaner. Unfortunately, Plume really loves Halie's glowing lure but somehow forgets who it's attached to before she tries to play with it.

Sour is an easy-going and likeable Wyrm. When he was first hatched (got him in person at Anthrocon), he only wanted to be attached to my shoulder, and in the hotel room didn't want to be alone. He often napped along my collarbone.

Now that he's matured, he's never really alone. He spends his time with his 'big sister' Halie, who looks after him and makes sure his monstrous appetite is kept in check. He loves to eat and preen. Sour is deeply vain, and will spend a long time admiring himself. He's stubborn and not very brave, often not wanting to do anything remotely risky because he's "too pretty" to put himself in harm's way.

When Plume and Antigone arrived, Sour was naturally a little put out by being the only male in the squirm. But he gets along well with Plume, and the two will often be noisy and have fun together, away from Halie, who prefers peace and quiet. Antigone, on the other hand, doesn't have much in common with Sour, other than vanity. He admits that Antigone may be "almost as good-looking" as himself, but dislikes her bad attitude and prefers to play with Plume.

I saw a picture of the attractive Wyrms we were going to be sent from FA:U, and I assumed the Growler was going to be a boy. After all, of the five Growlers that we knew of at the time (Pearl, Brigid, Ginger, Laochra, and now this one) only one had been male. So I made an entire backstory for 'him', drew a human form, and everything.

And he was a girl. XD

So I took some time and made a new backstory for her.

Her parents wanted a strong baby boy, and instead gave birth to a small infant girl. Antigone managed to avoid major conflict with other Growlers until she was a teenager, when her left ear was nearly completely removed by a rival female (Her ear actually broke off in transit, and after being superglued back on, left a small seam, which looks like a scar).

She ran away from the mountains until she came into the valleys and forests where other types of non-violent Wyrms flourished, and found her niche in our squirm.

Antigone is a little conceited and self-absorbed, as she loves the way she looks. She is also confident and ambitious, and she can be ruthlessly cunning to get what she wants. She loves cute and pretty things, which is one of the few things she and Plume have in common. She treats the little Leaf Crawler like a sister, though she rarely shows affection.

She has a bad attitude, and will mouth off to anyone and everyone. She can't stand Halie nagging her, no matter what the Angler Eel's intentions are.

Puppy- He likes mushrooms, shiney things, singing poorly, likes his ladies -short and fuzzy-, has a daughter that is more then twice his size, mated with a teacup fairy wyrm... he's easy distracted, loving, squeaky, and can be moody but loves to sleep and whines every so often.

Auryn- She's 'sexii' and you know it. The product of a mini and a teacup breeding, she is large winged and 'totes in charge'. Loves to text play games on her handler's cell phone. and ripped her poor momma a new one when her egg was laid. Her dad is -so annoying-. She however likes seashells and getting into things she's not supposted to - she is currently learning how to fly...

this wont end well for her handler.. DEATH FROM ABOVE.

Ateryu - He wants a horse, or a pony, has plans to be a father to many wyrms and wyverns. Thinks his genetics are SO AWESOME they must spread and be fruitful. That or he's just a wee bit full of himself. He likes mirrors and books.

Firaite - She likes sand, and water, and glueing things to the floor. She also has plans to figure out how to knit or crochet with other wyrms and create something aweful out of yarn.

Cypress - He's pink, a proud papa to Moonchild and enjoys sitting on his namesake. a much larger asian ball jointed doll. Who was named after his handler's OC-RP charather. He's still wondering why Pinkie Pie plushie pony keeps trying to call him a cupcake. He's disturbed by her.

Moonchild - She's all white and pretty.Has the attention span of a goldfish but loves everything and everyone -almost- and tends to steal chapstick and bury it in the sock drawer. She also has plans to cover everything in holographic glitter.
